Iris Harris was slightly taken aback when she saw Brandan Hyde, and upon seeing the man's steely expression, she couldn't help but take a step back.
Right behind her was Henry Ford; that step back seemed as if she was about to retreat into Henry's arms.
Brandan Hyde's gaze grew even colder as he stepped forward and pulled her back, then turned his head to look at Henry Ford.
The man, as graceful as a deity, still had a gentle smile on his lips, seemingly unaffected by Brandan's anger. Brandan's gaze was like a cold blade, ready to strike Henry Ford down on the spot.
The two men stared at each other, and Brandan finally spoke: "I warned you last time, if you dare approach her again, I'll make sure you can't leave River City."
"Brandan," Iris Harris couldn't help but speak up, held in his grasp, "you must not harm him!"
