Brandan walked up to her and held her hand, "What did I say when I wasn't talking to him?"
Iris Harris raised her hand and gently touched his cheek. Although she couldn't see him, she knew his face must be full of jealousy at that moment.
She chuckled lightly and kissed his cheek a few times with blurred lips, "Nothing. Just waiting for you to come back. By the way, what did you say to Nathan?"
"Nothing," Brandan huffed.
"You're so petty," Iris punched him lightly.
Brandan hugged her, and the two of them leaned on the sofa, quietly basking in the sun.
Soon, Iris fell asleep in his arms.
His arm was numb from the weight, but he was reluctant to move, lowering his eyes to quietly watch her peaceful sleeping face, Brandan's eyes gradually grew deeper.
In fact, he didn't know what he would be like if Iris passed away.
