By the time it was almost dark, Iris Harris finally returned home.
Brandan stood at the door and saw her return, frowning, "Where have you been? Why are you back so late?"
He stepped forward to take a look at her wet hair, his expression growing even darker, "Did you not have an umbrella?"
"...Accidentally lost it."
"If you lost it, just take a taxi home," Brandan said, his vein throbbing as he looked at her soaking clothes, and led her upstairs, scolding her with a tone of disappointment, "Can't even take a taxi?"
"I did take a taxi home..." Iris softly retorted.
Brandan turned his head and glared at her, "Still dare to talk back?"
Iris laughed lightly, coaxing him playfully, "Alright, alright, I'm going to take a shower. Can you find me some clothes? I want to wear that red dress."
"What dress to wear at home? Wear pajamas."
"Okay, then I'll wear pajamas."
Iris smiled in compromise, opened the door, and went into the bathroom.
