He sighed softly, walked a little distance, and stood by the window gazing outside.
"Young Hyde, before you go to see her, there's something I need to tell you.
"..." Brandan Hyde was silent for a moment, as if he had already sensed something and perhaps guessed what was about to be said.
"Is she really very ill?"
After a long time, he asked softly.
William Moore said in a low voice, "She's dying."
On the other end of the call, Brandan Hyde fell into a long silence. William Moore lifted his head, staring at the still-connected phone screen, and only after a while did he softly call out, "Young Hyde?"
He was a bit worried that something might happen to Brandan Hyde.
One Sophia Sutton was already enough to keep him busy.
If something happened to Brandan Hyde too, he would be truly powerless.
William Moore took a deep breath to calm himself down.
Telling Brandan Hyde the truth was inevitable; he would find out sooner or later.
