[3rd POV]
The following conversation with Regina had lasted nearly an entire hour, as Wanda had gone in depth about the things that she needed to do with Emma, and about Emma. Most of it was pretty simple stuff that Regina simply was ignorant towards (not her fault, but the fault of her awful mother). But some of the other stuff...was pretty important.
The major one was apologizing.
It was one of the most important things she could ever do for Emma, and that was apologizing to Snow White and Prince Charming, Emma's mother and father. By giving an apology to them, she could start the process of forgiveness and repenting for some of the things that she had done over the years.
And while yes, Emma still loved her regardless, this was going to help it a lot. It would make Emma even more trusting of her, and would likely only cement the womans love for her. Something that Regina would naturally want, with her lack of self confidence.
That was something that she had become very good at hiding, but sadly it was the truth. Regina had a severe lack of self confidence, true self confidence. She acted like she believed in herself, and put on this arrogant act in front of others, but in actuality, she was an incredibly fragile and broken person.
All thanks to the trauma that she had to go through when she was younger. From the horrific abuse and neglect from her mother. To the death of the man that she had loved when she was younger. Or to the fact that she had been forced to marry a man that was several times her age, and in that marriage, he had almost certainly done some...terrible things to her.
Snow White liked to act like her father was a saint, and that Regina was evil for getting rid of him, but in actuality, the man was like anyone in that day and age, in a medieval time, most men of high status were...not exactly nice.
Not all of them were evil of course. But quite a lot of them. Simply because of the way that the world had worked, and the way women like Regina were treated. That was in the real world, which translated VERY well to the Enchanted Forest.
The major difference was that the Enchanted Forest had magic, and wasn't as awful as the real thing when it came to certain areas. And it was far far far rarer for events like that to happen. Only the truly evil and vile would force their children into a marriage like that.
Like Regina's awful mother, the same mother that had broken her when she was young. That mother had manipulated her feelings her entire life, and was affecting her even now. Leaving Regina with this everlasting need to be acknowledged by her, to be loved by her, to make her proud.
When Regina would NEVER be able to truly make her proud. Because her mother had cut off her own emotions, especially the ones that had involved love. She cut herself off from the opportunity to ever truly care and love her daughter.
All so that she could become stronger, become better. All so that she could feed her own greed and selfishness, which was what all of the problems had been born out of.
Greed.
That was the problem that Regina's mother had. It was that she had a monstrous amount of greed. That greed then trickled down to her daughter, and had permanently harmed Regina emotionally, and mentally. Making her far worse off than she would have been otherwise.
The only reason that Regina was not a complete monster, potentially even worse than Rumplestiltskin, was the fact that she had her father when he was alive. That man had kept her grounded to an extent, and was the only reasons he had not gone completely nuts. She was already kind of...not mentally well when she was in her Evil Queen phase. But it would have been far worse had the man been dead or had he left her earlier.
Eventually he did die though. And that death had come at the hands of Regina herself, done in order to cast the curse that had brought them all into Storybrooke in the first place.
So yeah, Regina did not have the best life.
Beyond that, she needed to accept the fact that Emma was in love with her. It was blatantly obvious to anyone with a working brain. Of course most of the people back in Storybrooke were not exactly the brightest (Especially Snow White and Prince Charming), so they probably hadn't even noticed the attraction the two had for one another.
The only ones that might notice was Henry, and maybe one or two others.
Regina would also have to accept Emma, just as Emma would have to accept her. She'd have to accept the fact that Emma was not someone who would just sit by when someone is in danger. That Emma is absolutely not the type to do evil or anything like that. And most importantly, Regina would have to get used to interacting with Snow White and Prince Charming, far more than she used to.
She hated Snow White, and frankly that was completely valid, considering Snow White was the reason that her mother had found out about her first love. And said first love was then killed by her mother thanks to Snow White, who hadn't understood what she had done, and was simply joyful that Regina would be her technical step mother.
The family tree of the Swans was wild. Not to mention completely convoluted and confusing as all hell. Even as a God that had connections to family and stuff like that, Wanda had to admit that their family makeup was insane, even by her standards.
By the end of the hour long talk, Regina had left with a confident expression on her face, and a gleam in her eyes that all but confirmed the decisions that she had made. She would talk to Emma, she would accept and admit her own feelings.
And she would allow for herself to find happiness and love. And hopefully...that love would be true love, the kind that Snow White and Prince Charming had. The True Love that could break any curse, and do miraculous things.
But finally, she had left, leaving Wanda alone in the shop.
'Hopefully the advice I gave her was good enough to work' Wanda thought with a sip of her hot cocoa, which she had made about half way into the conversation with Regina.
'If not, then I suspect I will be seeing either Emma or Regina in here in the next few days. Hell, I'll probably see both of them' Wanda thought, knowing what to look out for in case it did not go well.
'But the chances of that happening are...well, pretty much impossible' Wanda thought with a small smile on her face. She knew the two of them enough to understand how it was going to go. And there was not a chance in hell that they were going to truly break one another's heart. The worst that would happen is its a momentary set back, and then they'll get together a bit later on.
It was pretty much inevitable that they'd get together.
Wanda continued to sit there, sipping on her hot cocoa as she wondered when the next customer would come in. She had opened the shop back up once Regina had left. And usually she'd get a customer in pretty quickly, but sometimes it took longer.
But when it took longer, it tended to mean that the customer that was walking in was either a new one, or an important one that hasn't been back in a while.
She wondered who it could be. Since most of her regulars had continued to come by. With only Ainz slowing down a bit, but that was just because he was at war or something. She didn't really follow what the skeleton did.
The Doctor had not been in quite some time, but she suspected that he was dealing with some pretty important world saving missions, or perhaps universe saving ones. She knew for a fact that he would be coming to see her soon regarding Rose Tyler and her getting locked up in another universe.
Something she'd stop if she could. Just depended on if outside forces tried to stop her. Like the higher "Entity" of that multiverse, she still was not confident in fighting. But it was only because of how incredibly secretive the damn thing was.
And so, Wanda continued to sit and wait, one thought on her mind as she did so.
'I wonder who'll come in?'
