"You actually killed a monstrous genius. This Demon Buddha Wuxin is definitely no nameless figure in the Eternal Night. Though he's still in the Dao Platform Realm, his strength rivals the Dao-Proving Realm. Even I, if I were to fight him, would have only a fifty-fifty chance of victory. Such a peerless genius… and he died by your hand. Unbelievable." White Lotus looked on in shock, unable to calm the storm in her heart.
Too violent, too brutal.
Who would've thought that as soon as they clashed, both would immediately go for the kill without hesitation? From start to finish, the battle only lasted a brief moment—and it was completely over. The scene was enough to leave any ordinary cultivator dumbfounded.
Even White Lotus felt the same.
"He's not truly dead yet."Yi Tianxing's eyes gleamed strangely as he looked at the Seven-Orificed Exquisite Demonic Heart floating before him. This was Wuxin's true essence. He could clearly sense the demonic heart trembling wildly. If not for the surrounding void being suppressed and locked down by his own Heavenly Might, it likely would have already flown away.
Wuxin's true spirit was still inside it—along with his Life Altar. As long as these remained intact, he could reconstruct his physical body in an instant.
He could be reborn again.
After a brief pause, Yi Tianxing willed the demonic heart into the Hongmeng Heavenly Emperor Tower, placing it directly into the tower realm where the Tree of Innocent Heavenly Melody stood. Beneath that tree, countless profound heavenly sounds continually cascaded over the heart, enveloping it completely.
"That's the Seven-Orificed Exquisite Heart."White Lotus, experienced and knowledgeable, recognized it at a glance. "It's said this Exquisite Heart is one of the most mysterious and supreme treasures in all of heaven and earth. It comes in forms of three orifices, five, seven—and the most unbelievable, nine. A seven-orificed heart is already the highest form known to the world. Legends say a nine-orificed heart cannot be tolerated by heaven and earth. If someone is born with it, their fate is sealed—they won't live past eighteen, and won't even know the cause of their death. No one with a nine-orificed Exquisite Heart has ever survived. A seven-orificed heart, however, is the highest known, and with it, Wuxin's status as a monstrous genius of Eternal Night makes sense. His terrifying strength is inhuman."
A nine-orificed Exquisite Heart defies the heavens. Growing with it is near impossible. One could die without warning—before ever showing their true potential. It was simply too heaven-defying.
A fate envied by the heavens!
Yi Tianxing quietly marveled as well. This Exquisite Heart truly was an unfathomable treasure.
"Completely purifying and erasing Wuxin's true spirit won't be easy."Yi Tianxing glanced into the Heavenly Emperor Tower. Even with the Tree of Innocent Heavenly Melody cleansing it, the Seven-Orificed Heart continued to emit ancient demonic chants, resisting fiercely. Within the seven miniature worlds inside the heart, countless demonic followers and Buddha-sons were fervently praying. Still, given time, purification was inevitable. Wuxin would not escape his end.
Since he came here today—he must die.
"So powerful… How can this Yi Tianxing possibly be so powerful?"
This scene was also witnessed by the hidden observers—the Black-White Twin Fiends. They had watched the entire battle as Wuxin fell. There had been no tricks, no traps. He had simply been beaten to death in a frontal clash. Even though the two didn't like each other, they had a solid grasp of Wuxin's strength. If they fought, it would be a close match. After all, both were monstrous talents of the same tier—there shouldn't have been much of a gap.
Yet now, a peer of the same rank had been utterly crushed before their eyes.
The impact, the shock—was beyond imagination.
Too violent.
Too terrifying.
Their original plan was to step in after Wuxin was defeated and reap the benefits. Even if Wuxin lost, he would surely have inflicted some damage on Yi Tianxing. At that point, they could jump in and finish things off. But now, it seemed if they stepped out—they might be the next to die. This Yi Tianxing was completely monstrous. Just one strike from that Heavenly Emperor Seal had obliterated the Demonic Buddha Body.
"This wasn't a tiger we lured out—it was an unstoppable true dragon."
The Black-White Fiends silently cursed in their hearts.
They had assumed that no matter how strong Yi Tianxing was, he was still in their league. Even if there was a gap, it couldn't be too large—they still had a chance to fight.
But reality shattered that illusion.
"Luckily, we still have trump cards and backup plans. Otherwise, we'd be utterly finished this time."
That thought flickered through their minds.
BOOM!!
Suddenly, without warning, a massive domain gate appeared in the sky above the forbidden zone.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!!"
"The might of Great Yi is invincible, unstoppable in every battle!!"...
Blood-soaked battle cries surged from the domain gate. Even without seeing the army beyond it, the overwhelming killing intent rolled in like a tide, pressing down with suffocating intensity. Clearly, the army beyond the gate was no ordinary force—they were veterans of countless battles.
SWISH!!
Not long after, flashes of light emerged from the domain gate—skyships tore through the boundaries. The first to appear were blue skyships, standing tall on them were soldiers exuding invisible martial might that swept across the land.
Then, more skyships poured out in waves.
In the blink of an eye, the entire Seven-Colored Skyship Legion had emerged into the Dark Realm. After respectfully saluting Yi Tianxing, the legions soared toward seven different directions, splitting up across the void.
"So this is Great Yi's army… truly elite troops unmatched under the heavens."
White Lotus' eyes flashed with admiration. She had to admit—any one of these legions could gain fame across the world and strike fear into all sides. They weren't something that could be built easily.
"Fellow Daoist Yi, the Dark Realm is filled with demonic creatures. Even if your Great Yi army is one of the strongest under heaven, plunging too deeply could be dangerous—you may risk total annihilation," White Lotus warned sincerely.
"No need to worry. Since we dared to come, we've already made the most comprehensive preparations."Yi Tianxing smiled calmly. "Fellow Daoist White Lotus, you just sit back and enjoy the show—things are about to get interesting."
As he spoke, seven great legions had already reached their positions. Every million miles, a strange structure appeared in the void.
It looked like a house—grown entirely out of multicolored mushrooms. These were Mushroom Houses, straight out of a fairytale. They exuded a dreamlike quality—beautiful, peculiar, and vibrant.
Then, the mushroom houses began to glow.
They radiated colorful lights—like rainbows raining down across the heavens, blanketing the land, falling upon the creatures of the world, and even the ground itself. These rainbow lights landed on the endless demonic creatures, who strangely felt no pain or sense of danger.
The Mushroom Houses were the source of this rainbow light.
Like giant rainbow candies, they burned away rapidly, releasing their essence. As the lights continued to pour out, the mushroom houses shrank visibly. In mere moments, they disappeared completely, vanishing without a trace—as if those giant mushrooms had never existed.
The entire process—from appearance to disappearance—lasted barely an instant.
But everyone who saw it felt an instinctive sense of awe. As though they had witnessed a miracle of nature.
"What… what are those?"White Lotus couldn't help but ask.
For such objects to appear in the Dark Realm, they clearly weren't ordinary. In fact, it was impossible for them to be anything mundane. Given the grand display, they were certainly not just some extravagant fireworks show.
"Keep watching, Fellow Daoist."Yi Tianxing smiled calmly. He didn't explain further. Some things were best understood by witnessing them firsthand.
"What the hell are those mushroom houses? What are these rainbow lights? They're covering the entire Dark Realm… Who knows what kind of effect they'll have?"The Black-White Fiends had no intention of letting those rainbow lights touch them. They immediately took steps to avoid them entirely. If there was something strange hidden within, they wanted no part of it.
"What is this…"In the shadows, the Dark Moon Demon Lord frowned deeply. For some unknown reason, he felt an extremely uncomfortable premonition. It wasn't intense—but deeply unsettling.
His instincts told him that there was something wrong with the rainbow lights. But until they showed some effect, there was nothing he could do.
And now, across the Dark Realm, countless demonic creatures were already bathed in the rainbow light. These monsters came in grotesque, malformed shapes. Many were so hideous that just looking at them triggered a deep, instinctive revulsion. They were utterly unsightly—a violation of all aesthetic sense.
For example—a monster with a wolf's head on its crown, chicken feathers sticking out from its rear, and dragonfly wings growing from its back. A creature of mismatched parts. No matter where it was placed, it was pure nightmare fuel. A true abomination.
And in this moment, atop its head, a soft green glow suddenly appeared—and within it, a small mushroom began to grow.
The growth seemed eerily natural. The creature didn't even seem to notice—no pain, no reaction. But quietly, its vital energy began to drain, slowly being absorbed by the mushroom as nourishment.
In the blink of an eye—a large green mushroom had bloomed on its head.
And not just its head—shoulders, body—more mushrooms began to sprout.
