The next few days passed in the Monster World.
Nothing happened.
No ancient monsters appeared.
No strange attacks occurred.
The glowing planets in the sky stopped changing.
But nobody forgot what they had seen.
The kingdoms remained tense.
Guards watched the skies.
Mages checked their magical instruments.
Scholars searched through ancient records.
Even the nations that normally ignored each other were quietly watching for signs of trouble.
Meanwhile, Albion continued his training.
He stood in one of the royal training grounds, sword in hand.
Across from him stood Sir Lyrios.
The Black Luster Soldier held his own blade at his side.
"Again."
Albion nodded.
He stepped forward.
His feet moved first.
Dragon Step.
He closed the distance and swung.
CLANG!
Lyrios blocked.
Albion immediately changed his stance and followed with another strike.
CLANG!
Lyrios blocked again.
Albion spun, brought his sword around, and infused the blade with Light Magic.
A golden glow covered the edge.
Lyrios raised his sword.
CLANG!
The impact pushed both of them apart.
Albion slid backward.
He caught himself and immediately raised his sword again.
Lyrios smiled.
"Better."
Albion grinned.
"Really?"
"Much better."
Lyrios lowered his sword slightly.
"Your movement has improved. You're no longer thinking about every step."
Albion looked down at his feet.
"So that's good?"
"It means the Dragon Step is becoming natural."
Albion nodded.
He had been practicing constantly.
His Spellblade training was finally starting to make sense.
He could move faster.
He could combine his swordsmanship with his Glyphs.
He could reinforce his attacks with Light Magic.
He could even use his other Elements without breaking his stance.
But despite his progress...
Something was still bothering him.
Albion looked toward the sky.
The same sky where the strange lights had appeared days ago.
'The Ten Planets.'
He still remembered the book.
And the feeling he had experienced when the symbols reacted to him.
Lyrios noticed his expression.
"You are distracted."
Albion looked back.
"Sorry."
Lyrios shook his head.
"You don't need to apologize. But tell me what is on your mind."
Albion hesitated.
"The planets."
Lyrios became quiet.
Albion continued.
"Everyone keeps saying nothing happened. But something did happen."
He looked toward the sky again.
"I felt it."
Lyrios slowly nodded.
"I did too."
Albion looked surprised.
"You did?"
"Yes."
Lyrios rested his sword against his shoulder.
"Every experienced warrior in the kingdom felt something that day."
Albion frowned.
"Then why is everyone acting like everything is normal?"
"Because nobody knows what to do."
Albion stared at him.
Lyrios continued.
"When you cannot see your enemy, you cannot fight it."
Albion looked down at his sword.
"So we wait."
"For now."
Albion sighed.
"I hate waiting."
Lyrios smiled.
"I know."
Albion raised his sword again.
"Then let's train."
Lyrios raised his own blade.
"That's the spirit."
Albion took his stance.
This time, golden light gathered around his sword.
"Again."
And they continued training.
Neither of them noticed the faint glow appearing in the sky behind them.
Only for a moment.
Then it disappeared.
Meanwhile, in the royal chambers...
King Albion sat at the head of the table.
Representatives from the other nations were connected to the meeting through the Monster World's magical communication network.
Every nation had developed its own way of using it.
The Royal Kingdom used enchanted parchment.
King Albion looked down at his parchment as glowing lines formed across the page. Whenever someone spoke, magical writing appeared on it.
The Sky Strikers had a much simpler system.
A phone.
Kagari appeared on the screen.
King Albion looked at it.
"Still using those?"
Kagari shrugged.
"They work."
A magical circle suddenly appeared beside the table.
Then another.
And another.
The Riseal representatives had joined through floating magical circles. Their voices came from the circles while their images appeared within them.
The Maliss representatives used something similar, although their circles were much darker and surrounded by strange magical symbols.
Then a small water orb floated above the table.
King Albion looked at it.
"Traptrix?"
A voice came through the orb.
"Yes."
The water surface rippled, forming the face of one of the Traptrix representatives.
King Albion nodded.
"Good."
Then another device appeared.
A phone.
But this one looked completely different from Kagari's.
It had metal plating, exposed gears, tiny pipes, and a miniature steam engine attached to the back.
King Albion stared at it.
"...Fiendsmith?"
A voice came from the device.
"Correct."
Kagari looked at the strange phone.
"Why does yours look like it belongs inside a factory?"
The Fiendsmith representative answered without hesitation.
"Because it does."
Kagari stared.
"...Fair enough."
King Albion rubbed his forehead.
"Can we focus?"
Everyone became quiet.
King Albion looked around the strange collection of communication devices.
Parchment.
Magical circles.
A water orb.
Two completely different phones.
Despite how ridiculous it looked, this was a meeting between some of the most powerful nations in the world.
King Albion spoke.
"Everyone has felt the disturbance."
The parchment immediately filled with glowing text as Kagari replied.
SKY STRIKER: Confirmed.
Another magical circle displayed text.
RISEAL: Confirmed.
The water orb rippled.
TRAPTRIX: The forest felt it.
The Fiendsmith phone clicked several times before displaying a message.
FIENDSMITH: Our magical instruments detected it.
The Maliss circle flickered.
MALISS: Our people felt something as well.
King Albion nodded.
"So we're all in agreement."
Kagari's voice came through the phone.
"The question is what caused it."
King Albion looked down at the ancient notes beside him.
"We believe it may be connected to the Ten Legendary Planets."
Silence.
Even the magical devices seemed to go quiet.
The Riseal circles flickered.
The Traptrix water orb became completely still.
Kagari finally spoke.
"...You know about them?"
King Albion looked toward the parchment.
"My son found an ancient record describing them."
Kagari's expression became serious.
"We found something similar in our archives."
The Fiendsmith representative spoke next.
"So did we."
The Traptrix representative added quietly.
"Our oldest records mention them too."
King Albion leaned back.
"So the legends exist in every nation."
Maliss finally spoke.
"And perhaps they're not legends."
King Albion looked around the table.
Nobody disagreed.
For several seconds, there was only silence.
Then Kagari's phone suddenly made a loud notification sound.
DING!
Everyone looked at her.
Kagari checked the screen.
Her expression changed.
"...We have another problem."
King Albion frowned.
"What?"
Kagari looked up.
"The planets are glowing again."
Queen Rafflesia spoke from the water orb, her image becane clear. "Again"
Ryzeal spoke from the Ryzeal circle. "We are checking it right now, ans they are doing it again"
Grapha growls in the Maliss circled the image of him was clear. "I feel that"
In the Fiendsmitch circled Dark magician image becane clear. "Yes mee too".
Everyone checked and found something it was like before they glowed and then desiperd.
The room fell silent.
For several seconds, nobody spoke.
King Albion looked down at the magical parchment.
The image of the strange glow had vanished again.
Ryzeal was the first to speak.
"That is the third time."
Queen Rafflesia's voice came through the water orb.
"Fourth, if you count the incident before the first meeting."
Kagari's message appeared across the parchment as glowing text.
Kagari: Same readings on our end. The energy appears for only a few seconds, then disappears.
Grapha growled.
"And you still have no idea what is causing it?"
Kagari's reply appeared almost immediately.
Kagari: No. But it isn't coming from the planet itself.
King Albion narrowed his eyes.
"Then where?"
A magical circle appeared in the center of the room.
Ryzeal's voice came through.
"Space."
Everyone went quiet.
Dark Magician, representing the Fiendsmiths, leaned closer to the circle.
"That would explain why our instruments cannot trace it properly."
Queen Rafflesia spoke.
"Can you identify the source?"
"No."
Ryzeal paused.
"But we did discover something."
King Albion looked up.
"What?"
Ryzeal's magical circle flickered.
"The energy isn't random."
A faint image appeared above the table.
Nine planets.
They floated in darkness.
Then one of them began glowing.
King Albion's expression changed.
"The planets..."
Dark Magician stared at the image.
"Those aren't stars."
Grapha's eyes narrowed.
"No."
Queen Rafflesia sounded uneasy.
"They're the Legendary Planets."
Silence.
King Albion slowly stood.
"The stories from the First Era."
Ryzeal nodded.
"The same ones."
Kagari's message appeared.
Kagari: We're checking the old records now.
King Albion looked toward the other representatives.
"If those stories are true, then something has awakened."
Grapha gave a low growl.
"Something?"
He looked toward the magical image.
"Or someone."
The glowing planet suddenly pulsed.
The entire communication room shook.
The magical circles flickered.
The water orb rippled.
The phones on the table crackled.
Even King Albion's parchment briefly went dark.
Then everything returned to normal.
Nobody moved.
Finally, Dark Magician spoke.
"...That wasn't an energy reading."
King Albion looked at him.
"What was it?"
Dark Magician stared at the empty space where the planet had appeared.
"A signal."
And somewhere far beyond the Monster World...
the blue planet began to glow again.
Meanwhile, in the seventh nation, the Mystery Nation, the atmosphere was completely different from the other nations.
From the outside, the entire nation was hidden beneath a thick layer of dark fog.
But inside the fog was something completely different.
It was almost a utopia.
White clouds drifted through the sky. Strange monsters walked peacefully through the streets. Children played together while Chaos Dragons flew overhead.
And among them were Toons, laughing and playing as if there was nothing in the world to fear.
This was the land of the Gods.
Deep within the nation, one of those Gods was training.
Obelisk the Tormentor stood in an enormous field, his muscles tense as blue energy gathered around his fist.
He prepared another strike.
Then a voice stopped him.
"Obelisk."
The God of the Hunt stopped.
"Stop your eternal hunt for Abundance and tell me something."
Obelisk slowly turned around.
A magnificent white Dragon floated through the air behind him.
Its crystal-like scales reflected the light around it.
The God of Remembrance.
Crystal Dragon.
Crystal Dragon looked toward the sky.
"Have you noticed what is happening?"
Obelisk followed his gaze.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Obelisk answered.
"The Legendary Planets."
Crystal Dragon nodded.
"Yes."
Obelisk crossed his arms.
"Entities weaker than us. Far weaker."
His eyes narrowed.
"Yet they are still capable of causing trouble for our followers."
Crystal Dragon's expression became serious.
"My followers have already begun asking questions."
He looked toward the distant sky.
"How long until they awaken?"
Obelisk sighed.
"I am the God of the Hunt, not Erudition."
Crystal Dragon looked at him.
"Then I need to find True God Leo."
Obelisk raised an eyebrow.
"You know what that requires."
Crystal Dragon's expression darkened.
"Yes."
He paused.
"To reach Leo, I need to gather all of his fragments."
Obelisk looked at him for several seconds.
"The Number Cards."
Crystal Dragon nodded.
"The memories of his existence were scattered across them."
Obelisk looked back toward the sky.
The faint glow of one of the Legendary Planets could still be seen beyond the clouds.
"Fine."
Crystal Dragon waited.
Obelisk finally spoke.
"I'd give it about eight years."
Crystal Dragon's eyes widened slightly.
"Eight years?"
Obelisk nodded.
"Maybe less."
He looked toward the horizon.
"But either way..."
His expression became serious.
"They're coming."
Far above them, one of the Legendary Planets pulsed with light.
Once.
Twice.
Then it went dark again.
Neither God spoke.
They already understood what it meant.
