Underworld Goddess of the Closed World

(tragoedia pov)

Meanwhile, as the tournament began at the storage warehouse on the docks, a black miasma started to leak out of a stone tablet missing most of its center. "Ah, it's been so long since I havebeen to a location full of duel spirit energy," as a spirit made from the miasma formed itself into a form resembling a small imp made from ink. After it finished forming, it took to the sky, heading to the Ra-Yellow dorm.

"I can feel the energy of the planet monsters; I am close," Tragoedia thought as he flew through the small forest canopy before a THUMP arrow made from blue energy struck the branch next to him. "Who dares try to attack me? Show yourself and accept your demise!" After making that demand, two more arrows flew out of the underbrush; the first missed as I shifted to the right, but the second struck my left wing, taking a chunk out of it. I recovered in a second, scanned for their source, conjured a barrage of shadow arrows, and launched them at the spot where I noticed some movement.

As the volley of arrows reached the area where I had seen movement, the plants sprang to life and blocked them, actively protecting my attackers; however, one of them let out a wonderful scream of pain as they were hit. Following the direction of the scream, I saw one of my attackers: a small spirit wearing emerald green armor and wielding a bow made from the same material. { Spell Archer } However, it was clear that the armor was not strong enough to stop my attack, as it had been pierced and was actively rotting from the decay magic I infused into it. However, while I examined my handiwork, one of my attacker's companions blew into a horn to call for backup.

With him revealing himself, I launch a single shadow spike in his head and continue making my way toward the planet cards. {Arcane Archer of the Forest}

As I reached the dorms, I noticed that the human I made that deal with had left the window open for me and the cards on the desk so I could grab them. After I retrieved them as I left and made my way towards the location of terra firma, the last part I needed to acquire before calling that human so we can restore my body. As I got closer to his location, more arrows came flying at me, dodging the ones I could and destroying the others. I see several formless spirits so weak they had no identity, yet mixed with a couple of the other spirits whose brains I destroyed earlier. But, most importantly, the spirit leading them was one I recognized from the pharaoh's tomb when I was sealed. it had been freed after that one-eyed fool turned the sacred duel into a game for children.

"So you were freed. I will not let you get in my way, Fairy Archer Ingunar. so get out of my way or be destroyed!" I said as I readied my strongest spell to make this quick.

"I should have known that when those humans breached the chamber where we were sealed, you would try to regain your body, Tragoedia. However, even if you succeed, you cannot get your revenge on the priest who sealed you; he is long dead, and the pharaoh's spirit has already moved on to the afterlife. Last I checked, you are still missing your heart, so what do you hope to accomplish if you manage to get your body back?" she said in a disgusted tone.

"I intend to find a way to conquer a spirit world for myself and rule it for myself and continue from there. If that is enough for you, get out of my way so I can get the last part I need." I said, losing my patience. "Very well, but know this: try to harm any of the humans on this land, and I will destroy you and your tablet, so you will never get a chance to regain your body!" she said before disappearing in a swirl of petals.

Dispelling my magic I wasted no more time making my way to the last card. …

Arriving at the ramshackle dorm where terra firma was, I closed my eyes and sensed it was in the room on the second floor. Passing through the window, I find him on the desk after leaving I start the spell to communicate with that human who is in possession of pluto and my heart.

After a second I here his voice: "Hello, Tragoedia what do you need?" he said in a whisper. "I'm contacting you so we can bring back my body. I have all the other cards." I said those words with a hint of excitement. "Ok, I will meet you down at the warehouse in a minute. The second round just finished; I have 45 minutes to get the remainder done." He said before dispelling our communication. Afterwards, when I reached the warehouse I started to prepare the ritual by putting the cards in the spots they in.

A minute later, the warehouse doors opened and shut, and a second later, I saw that human appear.

(Jason pov)

After arriving, I made my way over to where the tablet was and I saw tragoedia finishing his preparation. "So is everything ready to get started once the last two cards are put in?" I asked as I pulled out pluto and the Light and Darkness Dragon. "Yes, it is ready, and after that, I will give you a copy of my ka, like you wanted, and I would like you to use your magic to send me to one of those spirit worlds," he said as he inserted the last two cards.

After a second, the ritual started, and the tablet started to repair itself. The energy of most of the cards was drained before being released, and the tablet was restored. Tragoedia appeared in his restored KA body, and with a wave of his hand, he created a card and handed it to me. "There you go; now please send me to a spirit world." After retrieving the card, I put it away and pulled out the perfect field spell card for him.

"Alright, this world will allow you to get revenge not only on the spirit monsters representing the priest but also give you the option to conquer that world if you wish." I said. "That is perfect; it was a pleasure working with you, human," he said before I sent him off to that world and destroyed the card afterwards. I had no intentions of going there anymore before recollecting all the cards used to bring him back and making my way towards the stadium as i put tragoedia and pluto back in my deck.

As I was walking, the goddess materialized next to me and asked a question. "Why were you working with the corrupted KA of a human and why didn't you destroy him?" She said, "Simple in the world, my soul came from his card." It had a really good effect that, while during my time was not as good as it used to be, is still good, and in this world where duelists are not prepared for his effect, at worst it is a free monster to block one attack; at best it could act like a weaker version of Slifer's effect, and the only two cards with an effect that are able to special summon themselves during the battle phase do not exist yet, and I plan on making them when I get a bit stronger and better at making cards." I said, showing her tragoedia's card so she understood my decision.

"I see. You used him for more power in duels, and I agree with that, but why did you let him live, and why that world specifically?" She asked, "First, I let him live because I felt pity for how he was corrupted by his anger after learning what the pharaoh did to his village to make the millennium items, and second, I did put a hidden curse on him." I learned from the book of life that he will slowly degrade his power with the help of the light and darkness dragon that houses his heart, which will destroy itself after a while, and he doesn't even know it. Plus, the world I sent him to lets him get some revenge on the priest who manicured his village and I just don't like the cards from that world; they always stopped my zombie decks in my old life." i said with a chuckle.

"Very well, I appreciate you being onest while I would have preferred you to destroy him, I can respect what you did and look forward to watching your duel." she said before fading back to her card, allowing me a few minutes to strategize on my way to the duel arena.
