Xiqiu supported her in to sit down. The Grand Dowager, being elderly, couldn't drink anything cold, so Bihuai poured her a cup of tea which she sipped with a smile.
"Do you have something to discuss with me?" Xiqiu noticed the Grand Dowager's demeanor and knew she had something to consult her about.
Indeed, the Grand Dowager set down her tea cup and looked across the small table at Xiqiu, asking, "What do you think of Miss Tang?" Her eyes were full of childlike anticipation.
Xiqiu was taken aback, unsure what the Grand Dowager meant, and gave a very objective evaluation: "She carries herself with dignity, behaves more like my sister-in-law than Madam Tang."
"True." The Grand Dowager nodded. "I also find that child very similar to Yuzhen." She seemed to have a deeper meaning.
