"Is this okay now?" Avery Jane leaned forward playfully and gave Joshua Hughes a quick peck on the cheek, barely qualifying as a kiss, as her lips parted from his cheek almost instantly.
Joshua Hughes flicked his fingers lightly, and the remaining large portion of his cigarette traced a nice parabola in the air before falling to the ground.......
"Half-hearted..." Joshua's magnetic voice resounded in the air.
The bodyguards tactfully turned their heads away, relying solely on their keen ears and sense of smell to gauge the situation around them.
"Avery, Avery..." It seemed calling her name was the only way to forget those nauseating memories.
