After Ye Chen hung up the phone, he quickly got dressed and left the house.
He started the sports car and drove towards the abandoned factory mentioned on the phone.
Halfway there, Song Xiaoxiao's call came in.
"Ye Chen, what are you doing?"
After returning home, Song Xiaoxiao felt she had been a bit too willful. It wasn't Ye Chen's fault, yet she blamed him.
Ye Chen got her so many toys, and instead of thanking him, she threw a tantrum at him.
After thinking over it, she decided to call Ye Chen to ease the tension between them.
"Xiaoxiao, I'm busy now. I'll talk to you later," Ye Chen said over the phone.
Song Xiaoxiao could tell that Ye Chen was not at home but outside, and her temper flared up instantly.
"Ye Chen, it's so late, why aren't you staying at home? What are you doing outside?"
As she spoke, she started imagining all those scenes that would make her jealous.
