The cold gleam that once flickered on the axe blade had vanished, replaced by grim fractures in the metal that seemed ready to collapse into fragments in the next instant.
The vertebrae wrapped around the axe handle had been shattered, and even the chains fixing it to the minotaur's body were broken, adding to the scene's bleakness.
