After Third Elder and Fourth Elder parted ways with Fire Phoenix, they immediately reported Fire Phoenix's demands.
"This Fire Phoenix has such a big appetite, actually daring to set her sights on the bases, isn't she afraid of being overstuffed?" Third Elder couldn't stand it and mocked loudly.
"Even if we say sweet words, no matter how fancy, it's useless. A written agreement can be torn up just like that. Who truly cares? Only genuine benefits serve as the catalyst for cooperation," Fourth Elder commented reasonably.
"She's not at all polite, asking for all four bases right off the bat. We've occupied four bases, and she wants them all. Does this make sense?" Third Elder was infuriated by Fire Phoenix's arrogance.
"She's out of line, but isn't Fire Phoenix negotiating as well? Without negotiation room, what's left to discuss?" Fourth Elder spoke slowly, neither biased nor indifferent.
