The Little Flaming Firebird on her shoulder didn't make a sound. She played with the group of kids in the town square for so long and ate a lot of the food that the kids fed her.
Jiang Cheng and Yanran didn't expect her to be so undiscriminating with food; the kids fed her various foods, such as biscuits, various fruits, and jerky and dried fish, which she accepted without hesitation.
Now she's full and after playing for so long, she's a bit tired, lying on Yanran's shoulder, the Little Flaming Firebird slightly closing her eyes, seemingly a little drowsy.
Passing by a bakery, Yanran went inside and came out after a while carrying a big bag of bread and some other food.
The little girl happily showed her teacher: "Teacher, look," she raised the big bag of food in her hand for Jiang Cheng to see.
"These are the bread that didn't sell at the bakery, and the bakery owner discounted them for me.
They even gave me two cakes.
