This made Laine a bit displeased, so the Duke took the initiative to speak: "Honorable His Majesty the Emperor, you really brought me a big surprise!"
"I hope I didn't disturb you." The Emperor smiled as he put Little Frederick down, waving his hand: "This is an informal family visit, don't be formal. You're not a Duke, and I'm not an Emperor. I just thought we've had quite a few dealings, it's time to meet each other's families... This is my wife, Helena, my son, Luitpold II, and my daughter, Anna."
"Hello!" It was the first time Laine had met the Empress Helena and Emperor Carl Franz's eldest son Luitpold II. From the family's demeanor, the emperor's family seemed quite harmonious and happy.
Rumor has it in the Imperial Court that Emperor Carl Franz is henpecked because since his marriage, he hasn't had any female courtiers, and he has only two children, both born from his wife Helena.
