It was exactly as they expected.
The group chatted casually as they moved forward, their speed increasing significantly. Soon, more people were coming and going around them. Most of them resembled merchants. They used larger versions of the long, giant fish that Madru had previously employed as beasts of burden, dragging large, concave wooden boards to transport goods. These water carriages traveled back and forth across the entire swamp.
Alka watched this scene, somewhat puzzled. Isn't this a bit excessive?
It wasn't just people transporting goods; various ordinary citizens and some individuals in finer, more expensive-looking attire riding the water carriages were all present, and most were headed in the same direction.
"Why is it so lively here?" Jason asked, puzzled.
They hadn't even caught sight of the so-called Land of Fragrance yet, but there were already so many people.
