Alka couldn't help but ask curiously.
There must be a change when you impart your will to the rule, right? If the rule remains unchanged, it would be meaningless.
"Of course there is, haven't you felt it?" the instructor asked Alka.
"What feeling?" Alka frowned, puzzled.
"What is a trial? What is the Tower of Trial?
This tower-like structure remained intact after the world shattered and has been operating for so long. You wouldn't think it's because our construction techniques are good, would you?
This is just one of the twelve towers. How could it exist eternally like this? All of this is because the essence of the trial has a certain inclination. This is a change of will to the rule itself.
This is also why the Divine Hall of Trials has always existed, and we instructors have essentially become its vassals, able to continue existing.
The rule is fair, and without personality, it's meaningless. It is the natural law of the world.
Fairness is cruel, without compassion.
