After all, similar things were not uncommon in Night City. Companies going against companies, companies against mercenaries, snatching technology, poaching talents, or even shooting down hovercars was an everyday spectacle. Stirring up some noise was hardly surprising.
But the move Zeta Technology got hit with this time was really below the belt, and it was hard not to laugh.
Meanwhile, on a rooftop in the distance, a group of mercenaries stood by a hovercar, fretting over the Zeta Technology Mansion.
A tall female mercenary held binoculars, complaining,
"Rescue… and inside the Zeta Technology building… time's so tight, how do we rescue? By the time we get there, the body might already be rotting…"
