BODOOOM!
Inside her dream, Evie wakes up in the same place she had been before—inside the flower.
But this time, the petals are closed tight, filled with cocoon-like threads.
In front of her, a tightly wrapped sphere pulses violently with every BODOOM, as if something is trapped inside it.
Louis: Can you hear me? I think you can... Well, it seems I'm imprisoned. I can't hear you, can't see you, can't feel anything. But… I'm sure you're here, listening.
A faint vibration shakes the cocoon with every word he speaks.
Louis: Maybe you think I'm a bad person. Last time, I didn't even get to explain myself. It seems that the moment you stopped believing in me— even for a second— the pact fell out of balance. And when that happens… I can't control your body.
We don't have much time before those two lunatics find us.
His voice grows tighter, more urgent.
Louis: I didn't betray you. That kid just happened to be in the bakery— I had no idea. But to be honest… I can't save everyone. Even if I could, I wouldn't. Why? Because that was never my goal.
The pact was clear: I help you get your revenge and reclaim what's yours. In return, you become my ally.
I won't lie. If you refuse to listen to me, I won't help you. I don't care how this ends. I'm already dead, after all.
A long pause.
Louis: The choice is yours…
Evie's voice trembles in the darkness.
Evie: This place is terrifying… how are we supposed to survive? I don't even know how we got here—
Louis: I can't hear you. Decide quickly.
Her breath shakes.
Evie: Help me… please.
The cocoon around Louis tightens—then bursts. Silky threads shoot outward like tendrils and spread across the entire space.
Evie's sight fades into white, but she feels Louis's presence more clearly than ever.
Louis: If you want me to keep my promises, you must trust me… and follow my terms.
Evie: …Fine.
But , something else happens.
A massive Nerium flower blooms beneath Evie, swallowing her whole as its petals close around her.
A heavy numbness spreads across her body—like she is drifting into a deep, unnatural sleep.
Louis: Don't be afraid. Rest… while I take care of the rest.
Inside his own mind, Louis whispers to himself:
Good. One problem dealt with.
Time to return…
