The projectors fired up, showing a widescreen behind Joshua. It was just a blank screen for now, as if they were waiting for everyone to settle in their seats.
Joshua cleared his throat and looked at students, teachers, and staff members who had come. Many of the working adults wore glares and frowns, while the ones he knew as night creatures only had fear and uncertainty. He then curled his lips as his gaze descended on the students in the frontmost seats.
