The villa hummed with a strange energy. Guards moved with sharper precision. Conversations dropped to whispers when I passed. Even the staff seemed on edge, their movements hurried, their eyes darting like prey sensing a predator nearby.
Dimitri had given me a task days ago.... investigate the Tsukino family. Specifically, Kaito Tsukino and his father, Haruto.
I'd been digging. Following trails. Connecting dots that most people wouldn't even notice were there.
