She couldn't help but think about what would happen if Kaneki went to her home world, as mana there is very dense meaning he will be basically immortal even without knowing what mana is
'He will become the definition of unstoppable force' She said in her mind while she shivered since thinking about this only made her want to do this
Since she couldn't help but feel excited about how much chaos he would bring to her world if he appeared there
'Especially those people' she inwardly said this in her mind while she thought about certain people back in her world and thought about what expressions they would make when Kaneki appeared there Since there isn't anything anyone can do against him
"Why aren't you sleeping?~" She asked this question since it's been a late night now still, Kaneki doesn't seem to be sleeping at all
She has known this since the moment she came here since she knows general information about people in this world
"I can't sleep", Kaneki replied to her without looking at her as he continued to look at the sky filled with stars
Since this question is related to him as well as since he knows they're gonna be together for a while, he decided to answer or maybe he just felt that he didnt answer any of her previous questions, which is the reason he decided to answer this one
"You can't sleep? Like you can't sleep at all" she asked this question with curiosity since if he can't sleep at all then she might have a theory but it's not really possible from a standard point of view
"Yes" Kaneki replied to her as he confirmed that what she was saying was the truth since from the day his whole life changed, he couldn't sleep at all
'Is it because his body has evolved from being human or is it because his body keeps trying to evolve more than before' She said this in her mind as she came up with these possibilities
Since in her mind both possibilities are really possible, one simple possibility is that his human body has evolved beyond human which is why sleep isn't needed for him
Another possibility is that his body keeps evolving because he can't sleep, she thinks of this possibility while recalling her fight with Kaneki.
Every time she hits him, she needs to hit harder than before to do damage as Kaneki's body started to become tougher and tougher meaning he was adapting and evolving to her attacks to survive
Which is really something else and thats also the reason she won't call his healing ability an ordinary healing abilties
As it is not just healing but also a counterattack against the opponent, and she feels that at a certain point, his body will totally become immune to the opponent's attacks if Kaneki gets enough hits
Which is literally insane unless an attack destroyed Kaneki with a single blow to the point there is nothing to regenerate then it's impossible to beat him
As she said he is like of force that can't be stopped, thinking about this she quickly makes sure to store this information deep inside of her brain so she won't forget this
If she were back at her home world then surely she would love to study his body but right now it's useless with not a single piece of equipment and moreover, even if she wanted to conduct some research, then she dont think there is enough mana to do so
Mana is already very thin from using it for some time, like research is not a bright idea since if she used it, then there would be none left to fight for herself
"Do you know anything about zombies?" Kaneki asked this question as he felt she might know something about this
Considering the fact that she managed to evaluate his body with just a glance, he feels she might know something that might help them
"Hmmmmm" Iris went into deep thought as she heard his question, trying to recall what zombies he spoke of
She feels there isn't anything special about them, to her zombies are nothing but the living dead whose only purpose is to eat the living like beasts
To her, they are nothing but beings who have failed to evolve but one thing is certain they are dangerous if they get too close.
Since the human brain has a limiter that suppresses their strength in order not to break their body but zombies are dead beings this limiter is dead which is why they are so much stronger compared to regular humans
Even if they are stronger than her still someone like her who uses magic can handle it easily without an issue
Nothing special but I feel those are beings who failed to evolve" She said this as she answered Kaneki's question and expressed his true feelings
"You mean someone tried to evolve these humans but failed?" he asked this in her answer, since if that was the case then he had more worries than expected
If that's what it means then it's possible there are beings who have evolved which means till now they are just lucky didnt meet even one of them
Looking at the sheer number of zombies it seems that person did a lot of tries and he thinks there is a very small possibility of failing with that many attempts
He knows that this infection spreads through biting too but if that were the case then it would take like an week or even a month to convert this many zombies which is enough to fill this entire city
But in fact this happened on a day which means only one of 2 possibilities, one is that someone released a large number of zombies in public or released a drug which converted humans into zombies
