Going back a month ago, when Kita's group was too busy with their rescue mission, a commotion entered the UniPaws. Chaos everywhere, all in the 3 continents; Riverania, Kemitopia, and Zenshin. Someone pulled the trigger, and it is something that no one will ever forget. It is the Start of the Invasion.
Back in Hideo's office, where Ovae is hiding, "Greetings, I hope you are doing fine." Hideo greeted Ovae.
"I'm irritated with this disguise," Ovae replied.
"I think it suits you. By the way, I'm here to deliver a message." Hideo added.
"What is it?" Ovae asked.
"Cerono is asking permission to release her newly improved creatures. Some already escaped, she suggested letting everyone go all at the same time." Hideo answered.
"Hmmm… Creating chaos? That will be a good plan to keep everyone busy, the perfect diversion~" Ovae commented. "Very well, let Cerono and Mathus run wild," she added.
"Mathus as well?" Hideo questioned.
"Hai~ Throwing Mathus to the scene will confuse them more. Just tell Mathus that he is not allowed to talk about where we came from, or else I'll be the one who will hunt him~" Ovae said.
"Understood, I'll deliver this order immediately," Hideo replied as he bowed and took his leave.
Without any further delay, Hideo Riftwalks back to their base. The base is currently too noisy, the Evil Mimis screeches from a wooden dome made by Mathus and Zela.
"Greetings everyone, I am here to deliver orders from our Queen," Hideo said.
"Is she finally allowing me to run wild?" Mathus immediately asked.
"Hai, she did. Though you are not allowed to talk about our realm. Ovae said she will come for your throat if you spill any details." Hideo answered.
"FINALLY!" Mathus shouted as he jumped into the ocean and started to swim.
"Aaaand there he goes…" Zela commented.
"To continue my announcement, Ovae also permitted your request Cerono," Hideo added.
"Cool… Zela, break the cage…" Cerono said. Zela jumps and stomps at the wooden cage. It broke in half as the Evil Mimis followed Mathus into the ocean. "Be free… My beautiful creations…" Cerono added.
"What about me? Any orders for me?" Zela asked Hideo.
"As per the previous order, you are told to guard the base. Other than that, there's nothing else." Hideo replied.
"That's a bummer, I'm sure Cerono can guard this place by herself. She literally can create an army." Zela argued.
"You have a point. Well then, I have a task for you." Hideo responded.
"That's more like it," Zela commented.
The Horn-type Kemis from the Underworld are now free to do as they please. With the help of Hideo, Ovae managed to adapt well and learn the behavior of the Kemis in the UniPaws. Zenshin is easier to infiltrate than Kemitopia since Zenshin has 3 different Head Developers per region, whereas Kemitopia is ruled by royalties.
When Hideo first entered UniPaws years ago, he started his journey in the Southern region. Trying to widen his Riftwalk scope, he visited Kemitopia as well. At first, he thought that Kemitopia was an easy target due to the royalty system. He managed to infiltrate the Hidden Den where scholars gathered. But he was caught stealing the archives about the Sacred Runes. Hideo managed to steal 2 books, but the other 3 remain in the den. To this day, Hideo is still banished from Kemitopia for this reason.
After a couple of hours, Hideo returns to the office. "How's everything?" Ovae asked.
"Mathus and Cerono's army is on the way to Kemitopia. Zela, on the other hand, was being impatient. I gave her a different mission to keep her busy." Hideo answered.
"And what is that?" Ovae added.
"Keep Kita's group occupied. For some reason, that group keeps on catching me off guard. I kinda want to return the favor this time." Hideo replied.
"I see… I also find them interesting, to be honest~" Ovae said. "Anyway, once Mathus and Cerono are on the scene, prepare for your return. We must gather the rest of these…" She added, Ovae then closed the book that she was reading.
A week passed by and Evil Mimis were scattered everywhere. Cerono perfected a machinery that clones the Evil Mimis, duplicating the newly evolved species instead of using Tameable Mimis. The mutation of the Tameable Mimis was the foundation of her project, but it's not sustainable due to the few numbers of the Mimis on the island. Cloning them is way more efficient, and also more destructive than the original, exactly what Cerono wants.
The first wave hit Zenshin. Everything goes down quickly due to Hideo's manipulation. The regions can hardly defend themselves since they don't have countermeasures for this type of sudden invasion. The Central region anticipated this moment when Rubi and Eve went missing for weeks, though it was not enough for them to keep everyone safe.
Eventually, the rampage reaches distant lands. In Riverania, the Evil Mimis are having quite a problem with intruding. Beasts from this land can clearly fight, the only way for Evil Mimis to defeat the Beast Mimis is to outnumber a target. On the other hand, tribes are well prepared for this phenomenon thanks to Maiko's effort. She has been on a mission ever since Kita's group left. With her lead in the past few months, Maiko persuaded every Tribe Leader to unite and build an emergency base at the Central Tribe, extending to the forest. Temporary shelters are made, as well as fences around them. When a couple of Evil Mimis were confirmed on the land, all of the Kemis immediately proceeded to the base, forming a defensive response to this catastrophe.
Lastly, Kemitopia fought more Evil Mimis out of all the continents. That experience gave them an upper hand in preparing for countermeasures in case things get way more out of hand than they expected. The Evil Mimis cannot infiltrate the defensive side of Kemitopia since they ordered a full land lockdown. The only question that remains is, will their preparation be enough for the ensuing chaos that heavily targets them?
After continuous weeks of swimming in the ocean, Mathus finally reached the dock of Kemitopia. Panting from exhaustion, he gets the hammer and a shield tied to his back as he says, "Finally, time to find a worthy opponent…"
