Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Inheritance

The church bells rung as the Funeral Service ended. Everyone came to say their final good buys to Timothy Star.

A loving grandfather, father, husband and friend. His family all gave their final goodbyes to the man they knew and to some never knew at all.

A young Tim layed eyes upon his lifeless grandfather, he loved his grandfather extremely.

Constantly running to his house whenever he was introuble with his mother. His grandfather would always welcome him with open arms.

Handing the young boy a plate of biskets as he retold an old war story from a younger time.

Tim would always listen to his grandfather, eyes widening in wonder and awe. He looked up to his grandfather.

But now he looking down at him as he layed still in the coffin. He remembered the last thing he ever told him.

"Hey Tim.... come back soon okay, i wont be here forever.." he said with a smile.

Tim looked back with a smile as big as his. "Don't worry grandpa, you'll live forever...forever....forever..." the word kept repeating in his mind.

The funeral was extremely emotional as Tim was not allowed to participate. He was 16 years old.

Old enough to know whats going on and how to handle his emotions, but his mother managed to calm his nerves.

Later at the family home, the will was read out to the family. Some members where still grieving but some where ploting.

Tim watched this as his uncles and aunties fought over their inheritence.

One by one, they all heard their names, what they inherited and a few passing words from Timothy.

And then it all came down to Tim, the man stood tall and firm, his charged to confused as he read the will, a star contrast to his earlier sadden expression.

He read Tims part out loud, slowing down so that everyone heard him clearly. Tim had received an envelop.

A small red envelop with a strange seal that no one seemed to know. The last where for Tim to never open it unless at a time where life has troubled him the most.

Everyone whispered their thoughts and concerns but they died down over time.

After the funeral, Tim never showed an ounce of joy or happiness. He was mainly liked this for months.

He turned to a substance abuse and bad decision. Causing him to not graduate High School and get arrested for more than 12 times.

His relatives completely, his mother and father where his only comfort and shield from the harsh world.

Bht then, his father had died from drinking under the influence. This caused him to isolate himself further from the world.

He moved out of his mothers house when he immediately turn 21, he only had a few coin to his name.

6 YEARS LATER.

A few years later and Tim finds himself working at a local fast food restaurant handling the grill.

His boss, Mr kim, was shouting at him for getting a customers order wrong. "Tim how many times do i have to tell you, make sure that is completely cooked before serving...."

"Its that simple!!!", Mr Kim exclaimed, his face as red as a tomatoe and voice high pitched.

Tim simply blinked, not really interested in his story but more on his fast approaching break.

Mr Kim start to walk away, but not before giving Tim a fare warning, "Next time, there will be no warning, if you mess up, You're FIRED!!!." He screamed, leaving the kitchen.

"Dude, seriously. The boss was fuming, get it together." Ashley, One of his co-workers said.

Tim just rolled his eyes, his gaze locked on the lock above. "Don't care, besides his said for like what, the 10th time this week." He says.

"Yeah but....., look man, i just don't want to spend 5 days a week, flipping burgers from 9 to 5, its better we suffer together, like friends." She said, flicking her tongue out.

The Clock hit 1pm, Tim took off his apron and headed to the employee breakroom. "If you need me, i'll be in the back." He says.

The door to the breakroom opens with a lick and closes with a soft thud. Ashley just groans and gets back to work.

Tim flicks on the as the small room lights up. He rubs his neck and goes to wash his hands by the sink.

He rinses his hands and washes his face. He looks into he mirror, he tilts his head a little, seeing all the tiredness and exhausion.

He sits on the cough, sinking into the old cusions. He looks to the roof and wonders what went wrong.

He reaches for his pocket and pulls out a small pink envelop, the same one he was given at his grandfathers funeral.

He looks at it, the color faded and the seal slightly torn from time. He wonders if his life has reached rock bottom.

He takes a deep breathe and tears the remaining seal. Out comes a piece of paper, still intact despite his careless handling.

He spreads it out completely, he notices his grandfathers handwriting and knows is genuine.

He starts reading it to himself.

"Tim my sweet grandson, if you're somw how reading this its either you disobeyed me and read it. ..... Or you're at a troubled time in your life..."

"I'm sorry i couldn't be there to guide you through it, but my old body couldn't hang on anylonger..."

"So now you're probably wondering what left you when i passed on. Well i left my most precious possesion to you... a small land in a place called Summer Valley."

"I wanted you to have it, i came to this when i was in a similar to you, this place gave me a place where i felt wanted, and now its yours."

The letter ends, no final goodbyes or words of wisdom, it just stopped. Tim was confused, many questions came all at once but none with answers.

He turns the page and notices a few extra words, there small and hard to read, but he manages a few words.

"If you want to go, just say Cowgirl..." Tim leans back in confusion. "Cowgirl??." He says.

The letter begins to glow and burn, then a bright light engulfs Tim, blinding him. He blinks his eyes as the light faded.

His vision returned. He noticed that it was hotter than it was before, a shadow then covers him.

"Ummm excuse me, are you Tim Scott??" The female voice asked. Tim's vision fully cleared as he made out the indivudual standing infront of him.

With a slow tone, he answered, ,"Yes, thats me." He told her.

The womans expression turned from calm to furious, she grabbed him by the and brought him up to face her.

Her eyes furious, Tim notices that she has horns, thiny curved horns on top of her head.

"What took you!, i've been waiting for you for so long!!, seriously Timothy died years ago, why didn't you come sooner." The woman says, shaking him violentely.

Tim akss her who she is while being shoke, the woman stops and drops him, as if she had just remembered something.

"Oh right, my name is Alice Che, a demon your grandfather left inorder to welcome you" She says.

Tim dusts himself, looking at her with suspicion. "Demons exist?" He asks her.

Alice simply rolls her eyes and nods, not wanting to waste her energy on him.

"Anyway, im here give you a grand tour of your new farm Tim.....(clears throat)... Welcome to Tim Farms!!" She declares to him.

Tims eyes widen in shock and surprise, so many question feel his mind, but nothing is as big as the main question.

'What the actual fuck is going on here?????'.
