With Fuguki
Once Yukina and the Kirigakure shinobi returned, Kotaro approached Fuguki and began reporting the details of their battle.
"All Konoha shinobi have been eliminated, Fuguki-sama."
Fuguki nodded, satisfied. "Good. Split into two groups—one will collect all supplies from the Konoha base and transport them here, the other will begin setting up our base immediately."
He then tossed a storage scroll to Yukina, who caught it smoothly and unsealed its contents without a moment's hesitation.
Yukina unsealed the scroll with a flick of her wrist, and the stored supplies materialized in a white puff of smoke. Half of her comrades rushed forward—stretching canvas sheets, driving pegs deep into the ground, and raising frames with swift, disciplined motions. Within minutes, the once-bare clearing began to look like a proper Kirigakure outpost.
Kotaro and the other half of the Kirigakure shinobi moved toward the Konoha lookout base, their footsteps stirring leaves and dust as they raided the abandoned outpost, gathering every weapon, ration, and tool they could find.
After half an hour, the Kirigakure base had fully taken shape—rows of tents rising neatly among the trees, Campfires crackled to life one by one, sending thin spirals of smoke curling into the dimming sky as shinobi moved with crisp, disciplined efficiency.
Soon after, Kotaro returned with the group of Kirigakure shinobi who accompanied him to the Konoha lockout base, each of them carrying bulging storage scrolls and crates stacked with every supply they managed to salvage.Their expressions were bright with triumph, eyes gleaming at the success of their swift raid.
Fuguki's lips curved into a satisfied smile as he watched Kotaro's squad return unharmed. Without hesitation, he sent ten teams on lockout duty and dismissed the rest.
He then turned his gaze to the remaining ninja swordsmen, along with Yukito and Zangetsu.
"Fellow me to the main tent."
Yukito and the others nodded, their expressions sharp, as they fell in step behind Fuguki, moving toward the main tent.
_____
Inside the main tent.
Fuguki and the other ninja swordsmen sat on the ground, forming a tense circle, with Yukito and Zangetsu facing them, their eyes sharp and alert under the dim light.
Fuguki's eyes narrowed into sharp slits as they bore into Yukito, his voice slicing through the air with a crisp command.
"Yukito, we've eliminated every Konoha shinobi and raided their base—just as you instructed. Now, tell us the next step of your strategy."
Yukito nodded sharply, rising to his full height. His gaze swept over everyone present, dark and focused, carrying the weight of his current responsibility.
"I mentioned to Mizukage-sama that we will most likely face shinobi from the Uchiha and Hyuga clans, as well as some civilian-born shinobi. However, there is also a possibility that other Konoha clans shinobi may join them."
Fuguki and the others nodded in silent acknowledgment, their eyes sharp and expectant. Yukito straightened his posture, and his voice sliced through the tense air, as he continued.
"During the last war, I nearly died four times—one of those moments came when I faced an Uchiha."
"The scariest aspect of their Sharingan isn't its genjutsu—it's the sheer perceptive power it grants."
"Its perceptive ability is so terrifying and unfathomable it lets the wielder effortlessly anticipate attacks—and, most crucially, copy jutsus, a feat I have witnessed with my own eyes."
"To counter that, we need to neutralize the Sharingan by blinding the Uchiha clan shinobi."
Fuguki and the others' eyes widened, and then, a slow smirk spread across their faces—they were clearly intrigued with this idea.
Zangetsu then turned his gaze to Yukito, his tone brimming with anticipation as he spoke.
"Yukito, how exactly are we supposed to blind them?"
A smirk tugged at Yukito's lips as he heard the question, and he replied with calm confidence.
"My first strategy is to deploy an overpowered Hidden Mist Jutsu. We will divide our shinobi into teams, each primarily responsible for executing the jutsu, while our seven ninja swordsmen and their apprentices focus on eliminating the Uchiha and Konoha shinobi using the silent killing technique."
"Even if Konoha has wind users in their ranks, it will be very difficult for them to disperse this mist, because it isn't ordinary mist—it's created by multiple teams working together."
Fuguki's lips curled into a bloodthirsty smirk, and the others couldn't hide their own, their eyes gleaming with approval at Yukito's cunning strategy.
After a moment, Fuguki calm himself and let out a quiet sigh. 'This guy is truly impressive—no wonder Mizukage-sama holds him in such high regard.'
"My second strategy is to lure them into the traps we set beforehand, then use flash bombs to rob them of their sight and finish them from behind."
"I suggest we use these two strategies when we are dealing with the Uchiha and the Hyuga clans."
"The Hyuga clan relies heavily on their Byakugan, and because they need to fight at close range, using flash bombs or an enhanced Hidden Mist Jutsu will render their Byakugan effectively useless."
Goro was surprised and asked.
"Are you sure that's really enough to deal with the Hyuga clan?"
Yukito nodded his head without any hesitation and said.
"According to all the information we've gathered over the years, the Byakugan can see chakra in different colors, much like the Sharingan."
Fuguki and the rest listened closely as Yukito continued his explaination.
"When our teams execute the overpowered Hidden Mist Jutsu, the Hyuga clan shinobi will be thrown off by the sheer density of chakra flooding their vision."
"Keep in mind, it won't be just two or three shinobi casting the Hidden Mist Jutsu. We're mobilizing over a hundred for it—assuming my calculations are on point."
Goro's eyes flew wide in shock, matching the stunned expressions of Fuguki and everyone else inside the tent.
Yukito then smirked, he was pleased when he saw their expression and continued.
"As for our flash‑bomb strategy, I'm certain it will work. No matter how special their eyes are, the human eye is inherently sensitive—and that weakness will be our advantage."
Everyone looked at Yukito with eyes full of appreciation after hearing his battle strategy and Raiga burst out in maniacal laughter.
"HAHAHAHA, YOU REALLY IMPRESSED ME ICE MAN I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU WHAT TRUE FUNERAL IS AND IT'S BEAUTY."
"SMACK."
"OUCH."
"WHAT THE HELL FUGUKI!! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?"
Fuguki snorted he turn to Yukito and said.
"Sorry, for the interruption Yukito, please continue."
Yukito sighed and nodded his head.
"If we're to crush Konoha once and for all, we must strike where it hurts most—poison their food supply and watch their strength wither away."
Fuguki and the rest widened their eyes in shock upon hearing this and Yukito continued.
"Unlike the battle strategies I mentioned before this strategy will be our main strategy in our war against Konoha we need to execute it no matter what."
"Konoha had many talented shinobi in order to deal with them we need to use unconventional methods like poisoning."
Fuguki nodded in agreement and asked.
"I agree with you, but how are we going to poison Konoha food supplies?"
Yukito nodded and unsealed the Land of Fire map from his storage scroll, revealing it for everyone to see.
"Konoha has many possible routes for delivering food supplies to their shinobi. I will need to send out my summons to gather information before we can execute our main strategy."
"Once my summons gathered the necessary information we will send squads to poison their food supply."
Fuguki nodded and smiled in satisfaction.
"In the meantime, we will hold off Konoha's forces until my summons report back."
Fuguki and the rest exchanged satisfied smirks, their bloodlust stirred by Yukito's strategies as they vowed to slaughter Konoha in the war ahead.
