For Tapu Fini, even though Milotic lived near Akala Island, it was still a Pokémon of the sea.

For creatures like Milotic, Tapu Fini had always felt a sense of responsibility.

(Tapu Fini shed tears of emotion)

So Tapu Fini carefully placed Milotic on its shell and turned to leave.

"I should send it to Tapu Lele for treatment first," Tapu Fini thought.

With this decision made, Tapu Fini prepared to head ashore with Milotic on its back.

However, just as it was about to leave, Tapu Fini noticed something—a well-concealed cave beneath where Milotic had been lying.

The cave extended straight down!

No wonder Tapu Fini hadn't noticed it before.

Originally, Tapu Fini had found Milotic's condition strange.

Despite being clearly injured, Milotic had stayed in that exact spot, unmoving.

This was very bad for healing.

But unlike Roy, Tapu Fini wasn't particularly interested in solving such mysteries.

As long as it didn't interfere with its duties, it was fine.

However, now that Milotic was resting on its shell, the small cave it had been guarding was completely exposed to Tapu Fini's view.

Tapu Fini thought for a moment. "Maybe I should take a quick look?"

It reached one hand toward the cave opening, intending to investigate what treasures might be hidden below.

But the moment Tapu Fini's hand approached the cave entrance, something unexpected happened—Milotic, who had been lying motionless on its shell, suddenly sprang to life as if triggered by a switch.

Its tail whipped violently toward Tapu Fini, and its suddenly opened eyes burned with hatred.

Tapu Fini was caught off guard and quickly withdrew its hand to defend against Milotic's strike.

The blow came with such tremendous force that it seemed Milotic had no intention of leaving its opponent alive.

But when Milotic's eyes focused and it realized the figure before it was Tapu Fini, surprise flashed across its face, and it desperately tried to pull back its tail.

Tapu Fini naturally noticed the change in Milotic's expression.

With a gentle application of force, a light blue vortex appeared in front of Tapu Fini.

Using technique over raw power, it neutralized Milotic's Dragon Tail attack.

Surprise flickered in Milotic's eyes, but when it tried to speak, pain caused it to wince.

That attack had already been the limit of what Milotic could manage.

Now, from forcibly mobilizing its remaining strength, Milotic's body was completely depleted, and every part of it cried out in agony.

The pain was so intense that Milotic couldn't speak. It could only endure the suffering and position its tail protectively near the cave entrance.

Then, Milotic lost consciousness and fell into a critical condition.

Immediate treatment was essential now.

But what stopped Tapu Fini in its tracks was the sight of a small head emerging from the cave.

Tapu Fini looked closer—it was a Feebas.

And still just a baby Feebas at that.

Humans often called Feebas ugly, which was how it got its name, and it was frequently overlooked.

It sat at the bottom of the human aesthetic ranking.

This only began to change when humans discovered that Feebas could evolve under certain conditions into the beautiful Milotic.

But everyone knew that only Milotic was popular—not Feebas.

However, Tapu Fini didn't share this view. To it, all Pokémon in the sea were its people, and there was no distinction between beauty and ugliness.

The Feebas before it was still in its infancy, and its small body was actually quite endearing.

Its eyes were filled with confusion.

After some inquiry, Tapu Fini learned that Milotic had hidden Feebas in this cave and told it not to come out no matter what happened.

Feebas had agreed, though it didn't fully understand why.

But it had been so long now. Feebas was thirsty, hungry, and couldn't see anything, yet it still obeyed Milotic and waited patiently.

It hadn't come out at dawn, and even when a strange hand appeared, it stayed hidden. Only when Milotic's tail appeared and gently told it that it was safe to come out did Feebas cautiously emerge.

After that, Tapu Fini took both Feebas and Milotic to Tapu Lele's residence to seek treatment.

Tapu Lele didn't waste a moment and immediately used its Scale Powder.

Tapu Lele quickly formed a bond with Feebas and learned from it that Milotic had secretly hidden it before they were captured by Sharpedo.

Before they were taken away, Milotic had sensed something was wrong and concealed Feebas on its body.

After that, the Sharpedo had tortured Milotic in front of all the other Feebas, forcing them to release Mist day and night. Milotic had barely managed to hold on until now.

Later, Milotic took advantage of a moment when Sharpedo suddenly left and escaped with Feebas.

But no matter what it tried, Milotic couldn't find a way out of that place.

In the end, with no strength remaining, Milotic hid Feebas and waited for an opportunity—keeping alive the hope for its species.

Tapu Lele was deeply moved by this story and cried together with little Feebas.

Although Tapu Fini was also touched, it understood Milotic's reasoning better, so its emotional reaction was more measured.

Looking at the unconscious Milotic and the two crying Pokémon, Tapu Fini felt somewhat out of place.

After asking little Feebas where the rest of the Pokémon were being held, Tapu Fini decided to rescue the other Feebas itself.

However, to deal with the Sharpedo guarding the location, Tapu Fini recruited a few helpers to assist with this "prison break."

The plan succeeded, and they even managed to capture several Sharpedo along the way.

After learning from other Pokémon that Roy and his group had also emerged from the cave, Tapu Fini came to find them to hear what the captured Sharpedo had to say.

It was also a good opportunity to meet its idol, Solgaleo.

Roy thought to himself: "So I'm just a tool, huh?"

Tapu Lele was in tears: "Finally! I'm not the center of attention anymore. My sister has really grown up."

When everyone gathered together, they happened to be free, so they set off for Akala Island.

However, Solgaleo mentioned that its work was about to begin, and unfortunately, it couldn't accompany them.

It pretended to look hurt and nuzzled Roy's head affectionately.

Roy smiled and patted both of the lion's heads before climbing onto Salamence and departing.

Mimikyu and Ninetales: "Tch, what a showoff."

After that, everything proceeded smoothly, like mist gradually clearing over the ocean.

The waves were calm, white clouds drifted slowly, and Pelipper pondered what kind of seafood would be best to eat that day as it flew over the sea.
