Raven carried Alara out of the now chared pool, both of them still releasing faint heat from the strain of their evolution. The warmth had kept their bodies free of dirt and grime, but Raven's cleaning habits won't allow let her leave it at that. Raven believes in always being freshly showered, and in scrubbing yourself clean no matter what your doing, this is perhaps a lingering psychological scar from her early days in Sanctuary when Alara would sneak bites out of living system-raised animals and end up covered in blood. Back then Raven had to chase her down, drag the half-eaten bodies out of her mouth, and then wash clean until she is presentable again. Thank god those days are behind her now, but Raven will never forget the trauma of those moments.
With Alara still asleep, Raven carried her into their bathroom. The bathtub in here is a jacuzzi pool, big enough for several people to sit inside. Setting Alara down briefly, Raven turned the water on, let the steaming water begin to rise, she then tossed in a few bath bombs make the water smell nice, and finally poured some bubble bath soap into the tub. Then, without warning, she picked Alara up again and unceremoniously dropped her into the water. The splash echoed through the bathroom.
'Splash!'
Alara jumped upright, her eyes wide, water falling down her hair as she spit water out of her mouth saying, "What the hell Raven, why did you throw me in the water like that? I was enjoying being held in your arms."
Raven climbed into the tub, her expression serious but filled with amusement as she sat down on the seat. "Alara you should have thought of that before you started feeling me up in the ice pool during your evolution. You had me worried for nothing, and it turns out you were just using it as an excuse to cop a feel the whole time."
Alara's cheeks turned red as she sank her head back down into the water. "You actually noticed that? I thought you were so deep into your Awakening that you would not feel it. Especially since our clothes got burned up. I figured I could get away with feeling you up a little."
Raven scoffed, as water splashed towards Alara as she waved her hand through it, covering Alara's face with water. "Just admit it, Alara, you wanted to take advantage of the situation just as much as I did. You only beat me to it. There's no shame in admitting that. But don't think I'm letting it slide. I will get my revenge on you next time."
Alara smiled with pride showing in her eyes as she leaned closer to Raven. "So you admit it. I have won this round, Raven Salvatore. Maybe next time you will manage to get the upper hand on me, but I don't think so."
Raven's answer was to slap her palm across the surface of the water, sending a second spray of water across Alara's face. "Sit down and shut up. And start cleaning yourself properly Alara, and when you get out of the tub, brush your teeth."
Alara wiped her face, coughing out a laugh saying, "Okay, you devil."
Raven's lips curled into a smile as she leaned back, saying, "If I'm a devil Alara, then tonight I will give you the punishment you deserve. Prepare to suffer like no girlfriend has before."
