"Izuku."
"Izuku?"
"IZUKU!"
Izuku woke up in Papyrus's arms.
"Thank goodness you're awake! You've been out for ten agonizing minutes!" He whailed
Izuku felt drained, barely registering Papyrus's presence. He steadily got on his feet and went over his last memories before he froze in awe and excitement over his newly discovered power.
"Did I- Did you see that?!"
Papyrus smiled reassuringly. "Indeed Izuku! It looks like my teaching skills precede me!"
Flexing his fingers, he felt the burn again and willed the smallest amount he could from his hand.
Fwoosh
"I did it!" He thought, mesmerized by the red and green flame.
Papyrus walking over took off a glove and, before Izuku could react, waved his pinky through the flame.
...
"Interesting," Papyrus mumbled at the damage output, or lack thereof.
"You didn't make that with the intent of hurting, right?" he asked.
Nodding in agreement, Izuku made another in his off hand and watched the red and green swap palettes as the flame grew bright.
Testing Papyrus's hand again drew back in reflex as he forced it under the snow to cool it off.
"Yeowch! Wowie, that's some very powerful magic!" He congratulated, wincing in slight pain.
Feeling a pair of arms engulf his still crouched body, Papyrus couldn't help but return the hug as Izuku shook in excitement.
Dusting off the snow as Izuku wrote in his notebook, Papyrus examined the scorched bone and hid the wound with his glove.
"I think that concludes a successful hangout!" Papyrus declared. "Let us get some food to replenish ourselves!" He prompted, dragging Izuku to the corner store.
Enjoying the fresh pastries, Payrus bid Izuku farewell and cautioned him against using his new magic carelessly.

"Whoa," Izuku muttered absentmindedly as the environment shifted dramatically from the cold to a humid, cool. Using his newfound magic, he couldn't get over that fact; Izuku had it hover over his head in an imitation of Endeavor's flames. Able to see better, Izuku passed Sans post and encountered a waterfall and falling rocks. Taking the time to not get hit, Izuku managed through the obstacle with only an extinguished flame.
Seeing grass ahead, Izuku left his magic off as he shuffled through the tall grass.
Tap Tap Tap.
Izuku froze at the sound of metal hitting stone. Focusing on the direction he heard it from, he heard muffled mumbling.
"Grrrr, where is he? He's usually on point with this stuff." The figure mumbled, frustrated.
Frantic steps were heard seconds later, along with frantic breathing.
"H- Hi Undyne! I'm here with your daily report!"
"Skip that Papyrus." They interrupted. "You fought and captured the human as I ordered you to, right?" They questioned.
"Well- I- Uh-" Papyrus studdered trying to come up with an answer. "N-No."
"WHAT?!?"
"I tried very hard to Undyne!" Papyrus tried explaining. "But you see, their strength and willpower were equal to mine! It ended in a draw, and then we became friends! You see, I think there might be a misunderstanding among us and this-"
"Stop."
Papyrus's mouth clacked shut.
Hearing the metal in here armor's gloves creak and squeal as everyone there assumed here pacience was running out, most gulped in apprehension.
"Let me get this straight," she started. "You find your first human in Snowdin, and after trying and failing to capture them, you become buddies?"
Undyne sighed. "You will listen to me, you will understand me, and you will follow my orders."
Papyrus nervously nodded.
"I'll take the human's soul myself, you will give me everything you know about the human, and you will return to your post, understand?"
"What?! But Undyne, you don't need to destroy them! The human-" Papyrus was cut off by a glare only he could see.
"I- I understand." He said, shuffling away.
Hearing the noise quiet down, Izuku attempted to continue, only to step in a particularly wet spot.

Freezing at the sound, Izuku heard metal footsteps approach him as he held his breath in terror.
Undyne used her spear to jab into the grass, missing Izuku by at most a foot, before they were satisfied and left for real. Stuck like that for a few more moments, trying to fight through his scared stiff body. regaining some control, he made it out the otherside on hands and knees, panting for air.
"Yooo."
Izuku jumped at the sudden voice, flexing his hand ready to conjure fire, only to see the kid from Snowdin looking lost in ecstasy- his eyes glazed over.
"That was AWESOME! DID YOU SEE HOW SHE WAS TRYING TO FIND US?! THAT WAS THE COOLEST! Come on, let's go see if she'll beat up some bad guys!" Monster kid ran off, leaving Izuku on the brink of a panic attack and sheer wtf on his face.

Short chapter today. no joke, I'm adjusting to new meds and worry for some family in Dubai. I also just realized I haven't updated this story on FFN so I'll Update there for a while I hopefully adjust and can create a stockpile of content. that's the break info.
