On the screen.
"Peter?"
"Otto!"
"Nice to meet you, kid!"
"Me too!"
Doctor Octopus and the Spider-Man of this universe greeted each other sincerely.
This pair of "enemies" who were originally fighting to the death had completely reconciled in this universe, putting aside their grudges.
On the other side, Garfield's Spider-Man and Electro did the same, exchanging greetings and pleasantries, and making up with each other again.
The atmosphere was harmonious and beautiful.
Swoosh!
At this moment, a portal suddenly appeared, and Doctor Strange swaggered over and came to the front of everyone.
He was about to do something with the box in his hand, and Peter Parker immediately jumped out to stop him.
However, it was clear that Doctor Strange did not intend to listen to Peter Parker's advice. He insisted on his own opinion: "Listen, I am really impressed that you are willing to give them a second chance, but now it's time to settle things."
Because no one knew the relevant information, they could not understand what this "settling things" meant.
Judging from Peter Parker's determined demeanor in stopping the other party, it probably wasn't going to be a gentle approach.
"Spider-Man, wanna come out and have some fun?"
But just then, an arrogant and cold voice suddenly rang out.
The Green Goblin, who hadn't appeared until now, suddenly appeared on a skateboard.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
He immediately launched several bombs at the crowd.
Fortunately, Doctor Octopus didn't have many special abilities, just a lot of tentacles; several of them immediately extended and blocked all the bombs thrown by the Green Goblin.
But the Green Goblin also took advantage of the chaos to snatch the cube from Doctor Strange's hands.
Fortunately, Doctor Octopus's tentacles were really powerful; while blocking so many bombs, they also instantly grabbed the Green Goblin's skateboard.
Whoosh!
Doctor Strange finally seized the opportunity, flicking his wrist to unleash a magical beam, and snatched the cube back.
At that moment, Green Goblin swayed, his skateboard spinning like an indestructible blade, instantly severing Doctor Octopus's mechanical tentacles.
He escaped, flying far away.
But no one expected that before Doctor Strange stole the cube, Green Goblin had secretly planted a bomb inside.
Boom!
The bomb exploded in Doctor Strange's hands.
The powerful shockwave, mixed with magical energy, created a terrifying explosion, causing a massive collapse.
MJ lost his footing and fell from the shelf.
Peter Parker jumped down without hesitation, trying to catch MJ, but just as he touched MJ's fingers, Green Goblin suddenly appeared! He
knocked Peter Parker away!
"NO!"
In that split second, Garfield's Spider-Man decisively jumped down as well, catching MJ in his arms.
Then, suspended by his webs, he landed steadily on the ground.
What a close call!
The situation was incredibly tense.
Even just watching a clip that hadn't actually happened, Peter Parker was on edge, his heart pounding in his chest.
MJ wasn't his girlfriend yet, but they were classmates!
Peter Parker was genuinely terrified.
"Are you alright?"
On the screen,
Garfield's Spider-Man looked at MJ in his arms and asked with concern.
"I'm fine," MJ replied, still shaken.
She looked at Garfield's Spider-Man, and for some reason, he was crying.
Crying like a child.
"Are you alright?" MJ asked Garfield's Spider-Man in return.
Garfield's Spider-Man nodded, but tears still glistened in his eyes.
The image froze there,
focusing on Garfield's conflicted, tear-streaked face.
"He's definitely in trouble!"
Thor couldn't help but say.
The Spider-Man from the Lizard Universe was gazing at MJ so affectionately—could he be secretly in love with his "colleague's" girlfriend?
"Isn't that MJ the kid's girlfriend? But looking at her, it seems like she has something going on with the other Spider-Man too?"
Loki even had a similar guess.
It's safe to say the two brothers are raised by the same parents; although their personalities are quite different, they always share some commonalities.
Garfield's Spider-Man's final reaction was clearly abnormal. The others at the scene made a few brief comments, but they were all just wild guesses.
No one could guess the truth.
So why did Garfield's Spider-Man cry?
It's because Garfield's Spider-Man had faced the exact same situation before. His own girlfriend, Gwen, had also fallen from a height, and Garfield's Spider-Man, just like before, jumped down to save her.
But tragically, Garfield's Spider-Man didn't catch Gwen.
He just watched helplessly as Gwen fell to her death before his eyes.
But this time, he caught another Gwen!
"That's it?"
Peter Parker exclaimed in dissatisfaction.
The system's abrupt ending was infuriating! At this crucial moment, it was completely gone?
What exactly was that cube in Doctor Strange's hand, and why were all the villains and Doctor Strange fighting over it?
But whatever it was, its importance was obvious even to a fool.
Now that something so important had been blown up by the Green Goblin, wouldn't that cause some very serious consequences?
So, was Green Goblin actually captured?
Although there were three Spider-Men present, plus Doctor Strange, a super-powerful figure, Green Goblin's strength shouldn't be underestimated.
In the previous footage, Green Goblin's power was on full display; he used his immense physical strength to torment Peter Parker like a lamb, leaving him in a
sorry state.
And that was just Green Goblin's physical strength.
But now?
Green Goblin can fly freely on a skateboard, carrying countless bombs!
While no one can guarantee he'll defeat all the Spider-Men, if Green Goblin wanted to escape, it seems quite possible.
After all, the Statue of Liberty is so tall, surrounded by open space, not a bustling city street with towering skyscrapers—there's nowhere for the Spider-Men to shoot their webs!
In this situation, only Doctor Strange could use a portal to capture Green Goblin; the other Spider-Men would be essentially useless.
And Doctor Strange might not even be available.
After the cube exploded, a powerful magical beam also erupted. Who knew what serious "magical event" might occur?
If Doctor Strange were delayed by that "magical event," Green Goblin's escape would be no problem at all.
"This Green Goblin is a really dangerous guy." Captain America's expression also became serious.
There were quite a few "villains" who fought Spider-Man and his crew at the Statue of Liberty, but Captain America was most worried about this Green Goblin.
The reason was simple: Green Goblin existed in this universe!
Of course, Doctor Octopus also existed, but Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus were completely different because Green Goblin's abilities were silent and undetectable.
This guy seemed to have an evil personality.
Unlike Doctor Octopus, whose features were too obvious.
After all, those four tentacles were so big that anyone who wasn't blind could see them at a glance. If Doctor Octopus conducted any research, Captain America would know immediately.
—That's only natural.
After the last quiz, S.H.I.E.L.D. began monitoring Doctor Octopus and Norman Osborn in this universe to prevent them from turning into monsters like those in other universes.
This surveillance can completely prevent Doctor Octopus from appearing,
but it can't prevent the Green Goblin.
Even if no trace of the Green Goblin can be seen on Norman Osborn himself, no one can be sure whether the Green Goblin has actually appeared.
After all, that thing is truly unpredictable.
But right now, besides continuing to monitor Norman Osborn, there's not much else they can do.
[Question: To steal the Scarlet Witch's magic, Agatha and the Scarlet Witch fought a great battle in Westfall. Which of the following is NOT a result of the battle?] [
A. Scarlet Witch defeated Agatha]
[B. Scarlet Witch's sons defeated the S.W.A. agents]
[C. Scarlet Witch, Vision, and her two sons lived happily ever after]
[D. Scarlet Witch lifted the spell on Westfall, Westfall was restored, and Vision and his two sons disappeared]
[Friendly Reminder: Those who answer correctly will receive a Green Goblin skateboard as a reward;
those who answer incorrectly will have one attribute randomly deducted, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc.]
The system notification suddenly sounded, interrupting everyone's discussion, and a new question appeared.
This question was about Scarlet Witch.
"Scarlet Witch?"
Cersei couldn't help but look at Captain America again with questioning eyes. This was another person she didn't recognize.
Captain America naturally didn't have much to say and simply introduced Scarlet Witch's identity and background to Cersei.
"But who is this Agatha?" Thor's voice rang out, and he couldn't help but ask as well.
This character seemed to be appearing in the quiz for the first time;
it was the first time anyone had seen him. "And Westview Town, what's that?" Peter Parker added.
This town also seemed to be appearing in the quiz for the first time.
"Wait a minute, Westview Town?"
Captain America's brain raced for a moment before he suddenly remembered something. "Does anyone remember the question about Scott? It was about why Scott dreamed about someone else's wife..."
"Wow, dreamed about someone else's wife?" Loki couldn't help but exclaim, interjecting, "That's pretty exciting."
"One option in that question said Scott accidentally entered Westview Town and entered Scarlet Witch's fantasy world," Captain America continued, ignoring Loki's interruption.
His words brought everyone back to the story.
They also grasped a key point: fantasy world.
"What's this fantasy world all about?" Sersi couldn't help but ask.
"I'd guess it's related to Scarlet Witch's magic, but unfortunately, I'm not a wizard..." Tony Stark shrugged.
The group briefly discussed what Westview was, but aside from the Scarlet Witch's spell, they couldn't glean any further details.
Next, they discussed Thor's question: who exactly was Agatha?
"Agatha, judging from the name, should be a woman. Could she be the witch who fought the Scarlet Witch in the White Vision puzzle?"
Peter Parker asked, his eyes sparkling.
"That's possible," Captain America nodded, "but it's also possible she isn't. We can't be sure."
"I think she is that old woman," Tony Stark said with certainty. "
Well, it seems Iron Man has another brilliant idea," Loki shrugged, looking at Tony Stark.
Everyone else turned to Tony Stark, waiting for his next words.
"Look at this question, look at option B: The Scarlet Witch's sons defeated S.W.O.P agents," Tony Stark said, pointing to a spot on the large screen.
His prompting made those who had previously answered related questions begin to understand.
"S.W.O.S.A.! Mr. Stark, you mean S.W.O.S.A. intervened when Scarlet Witch fought that old woman last time, and this question also involves S.W.O.S.A., so the battles described in these two questions are very likely the same one, right?"
Peter Parker began speaking rapidly to everyone.
"Exactly!" Tony Stark nodded in agreement. "Just as Peter said, S.W.O.S.A. was involved in both battles—that's the first commonality. The second is that they both took place in small towns. The third is that Scarlet Witch's opponent was a woman in both cases. The fourth is that Scarlet Witch's opponent wanted to steal her magic. Fifth, Scarlet Witch's son was born in both cases… Given so many commonalities, I think the possibility that the wars in these two questions are the same one is very high."
The others around him couldn't help but nod in agreement.
Indeed.
These two battles have so many similarities. One similarity could be considered a coincidence, two could be considered a very coincidental coincidence, but what about three or four?
There aren't that many coincidences in the world.
Therefore, the battles described in these two questions are essentially the same battle; there's practically no doubt about it.
Everyone agrees on this.
"In other words, the old woman you're talking about is Agatha," Sersi said, summarizing the discussion.
Agatha's identity was thus confirmed.
Furthermore, everyone now had a concrete understanding of Westview Town, having seen it in the previous question about White Vision.
"OK, now that some basic questions are clear, let's formally analyze this question," Captain America said, beginning his analysis.
"Let's look at the first option: Scarlet Witch defeated Agatha?"
"From the glimpse of their battle in the previous question, we know Agatha is very powerful, on par with Scarlet Witch."
"But we can't definitively say who is stronger between Agatha and Scarlet Witch. Even if we could, Stark has repeatedly stated that we can't simply rely on a comparison of strength as the sole basis for judgment."
"Therefore, considering all factors, I can only say that what option A describes is entirely possible."
"Option A will have to be tentatively decided for now."
Option A is basically settled, and no one raised any objections.
However, due to a lack of supporting clues and the inability to conduct effective analysis, this option wasn't discussed further.
Attention then shifted to the next option.
"Option B is entirely possible, right?"
Peter Parker spoke first. "Scarlet Witch's two sons are both enhanced! Defeating S.W.O.R.D. agents should be easy for them!"
The abilities of Scarlet Witch's two sons were also shown in White Vision's question, albeit briefly, but it was clear that the two boys were incredibly fast—too fast for
the naked eye to perceive.
Even without any other abilities, this alone would be enough to defeat S.W.O.R.D. agents.
"So, option B seems to be eliminated," Thor laughed. "This question asks about 'not the result of a great battle,' right? Don't get confused."
"Wait a minute, Thor,"
Loki jumped in, slapping his dear brother in the face. "The question doesn't seem to say that S.W.O.R.D. agents are just ordinary human agents, right?"
Thor: "..."
Ah!
He was completely stumped by Loki's question, because Loki had hit the nail on the head.
If S.H.I.E.L.D. had all sorts of enhanced agents, why couldn't S.W.O.R.D.?
People shouldn't assume that S.W.O.R.D. agents are just ordinary people, right?
There was no evidence to suggest otherwise.
"So option B is still pending?" Peter Parker was slightly frustrated.
"Let's look at option C instead," Sersi suggested from the side.
She realized that option B, like option A, didn't offer any concrete conclusions.
"Everyone… options A and B can be eliminated!"
However, after glancing at the large screen, Sersi's eyes lit up, and she made this judgment.
"Ms. Sersi, why are you so sure?" Peter Parker asked curiously.
