Chapter 143 - Chapter 145: Andrew – Bathing Center? A Full Set First!

The moment Gangzitie saw that the person driving the strange new machine was Uchiha Andrew, he instinctively let out a long sigh of relief and quickly moved out of the way.

Ever since the Uchiha clan officially left Konoha and established the Uchiha Group, which now stretched its influence across multiple countries, Andrew's status had become untouchable. Even though the clan had only left behind Sasuke and two attendants in Konoha, and even though no Uchiha currently held any position of power in the village's upper echelons, their present achievements spoke volumes. No one in Konoha dared to provoke them.

And this wasn't just limited to Konoha. Across the other four great ninja villages—and even among the smaller shinobi settlements—the Uchiha Group had carved out a special place for itself.

There were two main reasons for this.

First, Uchiha's business empire had matured into a vital lifeline of trade across the ninja world. The enormous profits and convenience it brought to the five great nations were impossible to ignore. No country was foolish enough to give up on such benefits.

Second, although many had tried, no one could replicate the Uchiha business model. They all failed miserably. It was easy to see why: they only noticed the profits that came from linking nations together through trade. They forgot the core requirement—the one thing that made it all possible: the terrifying military strength of the Uchiha clan. Without immense power as a deterrent, no clan could ever enforce neutrality and carry out business across borders in such a turbulent world.

Equally important was how Andrew had structured the Uchiha Group. In every great ninja village besides Konoha, the Uchiha offices were staffed not by clan members but by locals chosen from each village itself. These branches only handled business transactions; they never meddled in political affairs. The Konoha office was the sole exception, where Uchiha representatives stayed to look after Sasuke.

This positioning allowed the Uchiha to keep their hands clean of political conflict. They were businessmen, not politicians. And with the incredible profits being shared across villages, who in their right mind would offend the Uchiha? Especially when they weren't just wealthy—they were also warriors feared across the entire continent.

Thus, the Uchiha had become something unique: officially still a Konoha clan and a company headquartered in the Land of Fire, yet independent of all political systems, ruling their own economic empire.

Andrew ignored Gangzitie after he stepped aside. He pressed his foot on the accelerator, and with a low growl, the sleek supercar slid smoothly into Konoha.

Driving was fun, of course, but Andrew knew better than to act reckless inside the village. He carefully kept the speed below thirty kilometers per hour. He wasn't about to give the Third Hokage a reason to extort fines out of him.

At the village gates, an Anbu member frowned as he sensed the chakra coming from the vehicle.

"What kind of machine is this? Is this another one of Uchiha's inventions? If it's just for transportation, why does it contain so much chakra?"

He almost went to report it to the Hokage, but the Anbu captain beside him snapped impatiently.

"Are you blind? Don't you understand what kind of man Uchiha Andrew is? If he wanted to destroy Konoha, do you think he'd bother with tricks? He could do it himself in broad daylight. What's the point of reporting this?"

Konoha had collected data on Andrew's battles over the years. The records were chilling—the battle against Cloud Shinobi, the intimidation of Rock Shinobi with a complete Susanoo, and countless other victories. The conclusion was clear: if Andrew truly went mad and turned on Konoha, he alone could flatten the village.

The junior Anbu swallowed nervously. Indeed, when a man himself was a weapon capable of annihilation, it didn't matter what he carried into the village—he was already the danger.

Thanks to Konoha's revitalization plan, the infrastructure had undergone sweeping changes. The roads were wide, sturdy, and smooth, making them perfect for supercars. As Andrew drove deeper into the village, the vehicle's sleek design and roaring engine immediately drew stares from every corner.

"Look, the Uchiha logo! That must be their newest product!"

"Is it like their cargo trains? Only without the storage containers? Amazing—it can be used for personal transport!"

"I wonder how much it costs. If it's as fast as a train, I could reach Evernight City for trade in no time!"

Villagers murmured in awe, their eyes filled with admiration.

In just three short years, Uchiha innovations had reshaped the very world itself, beginning with transportation. Trade between the five nations had always been crippled by the challenge of moving cargo. Cloud and Mist could rely on sea routes, but Sand and Rock had no such luxury. And even for sea routes, goods could only move along coastlines, not inland.

Andrew had solved this with integrated multimodal transport: sea, rail, and road working together. The Group built powerful railways for bulk transport, trucks for smaller shipments, and cooperated with maritime fleets to link everything together.

Though the network was still young—so far it only circled the five great nations—it was enough to revolutionize commerce. The rest would come with time.

And transportation wasn't all. Everyday tools were rebranded into Uchiha products, cleverly marketed with flair. Flashlights, searchlights, generators—all became symbols of modern progress. With Orochimaru and his research team working under Andrew's wing, prototypes from Andrew's old memories of another world were turned into working devices. Successful ones went to market; failures went back into research.

The result? The ninja world embraced modernization at a shocking pace.

After enjoying the crowd's reactions, Andrew finally steered the supercar into the courtyard of the Uchiha Bathing Center. Standing at the entrance, already waiting for him, was Uchiha Kamasu, the manager of the Konoha branch.

"Director Andrew! You've arrived at last," Kamasu greeted warmly, bowing slightly. "The transfer documents are ready in the Uchiha Hotel. You can review them at your leisure. But first—please, come inside and enjoy a massage and a hot soak. You've had a long journey!"

Andrew smirked. "...Very well. Let's start with the full set."

After all, this trip to Konoha wasn't just about relaxing. In addition to officially taking Sasuke under his care again, Andrew also had to handle administrative matters for the local office. The director's post was only temporary anyway; most daily affairs were managed by Konoha locals under Uchiha oversight. Kamasu's main responsibility had always been to keep an eye on Sasuke.

Why wasn't Mikoto caring for Sasuke herself? That was a story best left to Fugaku. After retiring from the Group's leadership and growing idle, the old man had found himself spending more and more time with his wife… leaving Sasuke in others' care.

Andrew chuckled at the thought as he changed clothes inside the bathing center. The warm steam, the relaxing massage, and the soothing soak quickly washed away the weariness of his journey. By the time he stepped back out, his body felt rejuvenated.

Now refreshed, Andrew set his sights on the Hokage Building. He still didn't know whether the current Team 7 lineup matched the original one he remembered. But he was curious to find out.

With the Uchiha clan's power rising, the ninja world was changing— and Andrew intended to be at the very heart of it.
