"Where have you been?!"
The concert director shouted the moment Viola rushed backstage. Viola immediately lowered her head in apology.
"I'm so sorry, sir! I had trouble with transportation."
She came running into the backstage area with her bare face, her natural hair color and eyes fully visible. She had already changed into different clothes after everything that happened earlier.
The director pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"We don't have time for this! Prep her already! We only have an hour and a half before the show starts!"
The makeup artists and stylists hurriedly surrounded Viola. Luckily, preparing her was surprisingly easy.
Her skin was already flawless, smooth enough that the makeup artists barely needed to do anything. Even her makeup ended up taking far less time than expected. Her hair styling went smoothly as well, the soft strands naturally falling into place without much effort.
