"Did I write something weird in there?"
"No, not at all."
"Then what did I write that made you say something like that?"
Ezekiel shook his head.
"Don't bother thinking about it anymore."
"But—"
"What do you say we enjoy the rest of the day before it ends?"
Before Viola could continue questioning him, Ezekiel quickly changed the subject.
"That game looks fun. Should we try it?"
Viola narrowed her eyes suspiciously. He was definitely hiding something. Still, she could tell he had no intention of telling her.
I guess he won't tell me.
She let out a small sigh.
Never mind. He's right. We should enjoy the rest of today instead of ruining this day by just remembering about that piece of shit from earlier once we get home.
With that, the two continued their date. They wandered around the arcade, trying different small rides and games.
Some of the booths offered prizes like in carnivals, and Ezekiel somehow managed to win every single one.
