Usually, Veer walked directly to the absolute highest tier in the back, slouched into a corner seat, pulled his leather jacket over his face, and slept for an hour and a half.
Today, however, Veer stopped at the bottom of the stairs.
He remembered Kaya's words perfectly: "If you sleep through it again, I am taking away your motorcycle... I will sit in the absolute front row and terrorize the professor with my full attention."
Veer's lips curved into a slow, dark, highly predatory smile.
He walked directly toward the front row. There were currently four students sitting in the center section of the front row, actively reviewing their tablets.
Veer stopped in front of the center desk. He didn't say a word. He simply lowered his sunglasses an inch, allowing his glowing, inhumanly intense golden eyes to lock onto the student sitting in the chair.
