After a few days of traveling through the enormous, Great forest of Jenra, they finally reach the kingdom of Draken.
Everyone is in awe at the size of the kingdom, as they are placed right outside of the castle gates.
"Wow! I can barely see the castle from here," Ragnar exclaimed as he got off the carriage.
"If you look close enough, you'll spot the academy behind it," a girl spoke out in an angelic voice.
Everyone looked towards the castle gates. Three girls stood infront of the gate, all three had snow white hair and ocean blue eyes but they were all different in height. Next to them stood a tall lean man with slicked back brown hair and amber eyes dressed in a red, white and black uniform.
The tallest of the girls stepped forward, "It's a pleasure to see that you have all made it here safely. I am Mildred Draken, oldest daughter of the king Beawolf Draken."
She raised her left arm towards the other two girls.
"These are my two younger sister, Bell Draken and the youngest, Alice Draken. The man beside us is the vice captain of the Draken Royal guard, Haruka Nasaka."
For a brief moment, Alex locked eyes with Alice.
Those eyes look beautiful.
Alice chuckled a bit and Alex realized he had been staring for too long and shyly glanced away.
The children bowed as Haruka gestured for them to follow him. They were personally escorted through the streets of the Draken kingdom.
Wow, this place is pretty even on the inside.
Alex glanced around at the lively people as they passed past the market and into the town square.
"Everyone stay close, we are almost there," Mildred said in a cheerful voice.
After a few more minutes of walking they had finally made it to the gate of the academy. It was a large gate made out of tow dazzling silver zenium pillars as well as two large, prestige oak wood doors.
Once they entered the gates they were greeted by a tall four storey building painted bright red with black and white horizontal lining on each floor as well as five more similar buildings organized in two rows of threes.
"Theese will be the buildings from which you will be taught. The training grounds are just pass those buildings, but now we will be heading to your residence," Mildred said as she walked in the opposite direction of the classes.
Before them were dozens of inter connected flats in rows of atleast twelve. Everyone was assigned a room and provided with clothing tailored to their sizes.
Alex walked through the corridor, glancing at room number written on the key then at the doors till he reached room number 26. He inserted the key and found the key would not turn.
"It's already open," a person called out from the inside.
Alex opened the door and found a boy, roughly his height or taller with short black hair and teal colored eyes.
"Sorry I think I got the wrong room," Alex said as he turned and found Mildred already in front of him.
"Is the a problem Mr Kindheart," Mildred asked in a polite tone.
"Yeah, I think I got the wrong room. I'm supposed to be rooming with my brother, Ragnar," he said.
"There isn't any mistake, this is the sleeping arrangement specifically sent to us by Mr Bravewing," she said.
Alex paused and glanced behind her. Tez stood there with two other from the day Ragnar was beat up. He smirked at Alex as he waved at him and walked off.
Alex gritted his teeth and thanked Mildred before entering the room and entering the surprisingly spacious room.
Alex walked over to the study table with two chairs and sat on one of them, then slammed his head on the desk.
"Is there a problem? I could move if you want me to," the boy asked as he sat down next to Alex.
"Thanks for the concern, but you don't have to do that,"Alex responded still face down on the desk.
"The name's Ashrem Crono, what's yours?" Ashrem asked hand held out to him.
Alex paused for a moment before raising his head and meeting Ashrem's gaze. He held out his hand and they shook hands.
"Alex Kindheart, it's a pleasure to meet you."
