Ashley's Side
Ashley looked seriously at Noah.
Ashley: "Don't you know?"
"You should respect everyone..."
"Whether they're an Omega, a Beta..."
"Or even an animal." đ€
Noah frowned and gave her an annoyed look.
Ashley didn't back down.
Ashley: "I called him a monster because I don't know his name."
"But you called him 'just' a monster."
"There's a difference."
"And don't think I'm scared of you."
"I'm a royal Alpha too." đ€
As she spoke, her eyes drifted downward.
She noticed Noah's boots.
They were covered with black soil.
Ashley's eyes widened.
Ashley (thinking):
Black soil...?
That soil was only inside the cave...
Everyone else came back...
Except one person...
She slowly looked up at Noah.
Ashley: "By any chance..."

Noah smiled slightly.
Noah: "Yeah." đ
Ashley scratched the back of her head.
Ashley: "Hehe..."

Elda sat quietly on a large rock.
Erin sat beside her.
Silence filled the air.
Finally...
Elda: "Erin..."
Erin: "Hmm?"
Elda lowered her head.
Elda: "I'm sorry." đ
Erin looked at her.
Erin: "For what?"
Elda blinked.
Elda: "Huh?"
Erin's voice became colder.
Erin: "For what?"
"For rejecting me?"
"For killing my Omega?"
"Or for making me walk around with you like this?"
She lifted their joined hands, still bound together.
Elda's eyes filled with guilt.
Elda: "For killing your Omega..."
"And for everything else."
"I still don't understand."
"When I heard that voice..."
"It was like anger completely took over me."
"I couldn't control myself."

Erin cut her off.
Erin: "Enough, Queen Elda."
"There is no way I can forgive you."
"You hurt me too much."
"You never once thought about how I felt after you rejected me."
Tears gathered in her eyes.
Erin: "Do you know how much I loved you?"
"When I found out you were my mate..."
"I was the happiest person alive."
"But you..."
She turned her face away.
Elda looked at her with trembling eyes.
Then, in a quiet voice, she confessed.
Elda: "I love you."
Erin's breathing stopped.
She slowly turned back.

Elda: "Not from yesterday."
"Not from today."

"From the very first day I met you."
