đ Roadside â Same Dark Forest
The night grew colder as a car headlights sliced through the empty forest road.
Inside, three young men in their early twenties were chatting lazily.
Man 1 leaned forward on the steering wheel, humming softly.
Man 1:
"Hmmm~ good song, right?" đ
Man 2:
"Yeah yeahâjust don't crash." đ
Man 3:
"Both of you shut up, I'm trying to sleepâ"
He suddenly jerked awake.
Because up aheadâŠ
Two suspicious men dragged someone out of a car.
A woman.
A woman dressed in a torn bridal gown.
And they threw her on the roadside like garbage before speeding off.
The forest swallowed the sound.
The three young men froze.
Man 1:
"âŠWhat theâ?" đ¶
Man 2 clutched the seat.
Man 2:
"Broâdon't tell meâIS THIS A RAPE CASE?!" đ±
Man 3:
"IDIOT! Shut up!" đ€
Man 1 stopped the car instantly.
All three jumped out, rushing toward the fallen figure.
The woman's veil was torn, her face pale, her back bruised from hitting a tree.
Man 2:
"Is she⊠is she DEAD?!" đ±
Man 3 crouched beside her, his expression gradually softening.
Man 3:
"âŠShe's beautiful." đ¶đ
Man 2:
"OI! Focus! Did theyâdid they do something to her?!" đ±
Man 1 examined her carefully.
Man 1:
"No. No signs of⊠that.
Only bruises on her back.
She's aliveâjust unconscious." đ
Man 2:
"Then why isn't she waking upâŠ?" đš
Man 1:
"Brother⊠should we help her?" đ
Man 3 didn't hesitate.
He slid his arms under her gently, lifting her into his lap.
She felt cold.
Too cold.
Man 3:
"She's breathing.
She's wounded.
And she's alone on a forest road."
He stood up, holding her protectively.
"We're taking her. Now." đ
Man 1:
"Right. Let's go." đ
The three men hurried back to their car.
Man 3 placed Amber in the backseat carefully, supporting her head on his shoulder.
Man 1:
"Hospital?" đ
Man 3:
"No.
We're too far from townâŠ
and whoever threw her might be looking for her."
He looked at her bruised hands.
"We'll take her to our place first." đ
As the car sped away into the night, the forest grew silent again.
But the story had already changed.
Amber's fate shifted the moment they picked her up.
