The corner of Daniel's mouth curled slightly, his face displaying a look of strategic composure. Everything was unfolding exactly as he had anticipated; the inner god had indeed chosen to submit.
At the same time, a voice filled with a hint of urgency echoed in Daniel's mind, that of his inner god.
"Daniel, you are a clever man. I admit that if you were to fully merge with these divine positions, I would indeed be completely sealed away."
"But have you ever considered that this might be part of the God of Knowledge's scheme?"
"As the God of Knowledge, he has successfully birthed his own inner god, and it is possible that the being controlling him now is his inner god."
"In the face of such an entity, why would you trust him completely?"
"Is it not possible that the God of Knowledge purposely did not want you to birth an inner god, so he pointed you towards this path, intending for you to personally seal me?"
