Ratchet was carrying the unconscious humans and Autobots back to the medical bay as all medics were under work. Ratchet was under stress as he already had patients to work with and now, he had even more to deal with. Plasma sweat could be seen on his body as he got to work. Meanwhile Searchlight was called up again to clean up the death bodies and put the humans to rest. Hot Rod was kind of trying to comfort the humans who were surprised by the whole thing that happened. Sure it was expected for an Decepticon attack to happen but it was never destructive as the one that had happened here. There were talks about what just happened.
Grapple had cleaned up all of the glass shard on the floor and threw them in the bin before seeing Jazz come over. "So what happened there?" Grapple asked before Jazz shook his head as he said "Something strange for all I know. I never had expected for like a whole bombing matter to happened. The fact it killed a dozen or so humans concerns me." Grapple nodded as Jazz coughed loudly which caught Sandstorm's attention. Jazz waved it off with a gesture as he tried to clear his old throat "They weren't lying that your voice gets weird when your old. I feel like I can barely sing!" Grapple nodded his head in amusement as the small moment of joking cleared up some of the tension.
Meanwhile Optimus was looking quite distraught as Bumblebee sat down next to him. Bumblebee soon said with a worried tone for his older friend and father figure "Optimus, you seem kind of troubled. I had never seen you this... Vulnerable before." Optimus looked down at him with his blue cyan optics glinting under the dim light "I know you usually don't see me in this way but I really need to think." Optimus said before looked at the bodies that Searchlight was taking away as Bumblebee hesitated for a slow moment to touch Optimus. He could feel a sense of solemn in the atmosphere that not even he could remove. The sounds of humans weeping, Autobots trying to help their soldiers out and the chaos that has happened... Optimus felt a ache in his own spark as he could feel a dead weight from it. Bumblebee noticed before saying "You want a moment?" Optimus nodded before saying "Just a little bit."
Bumblebee soon got up before leaving not before turning around and said "I just wish to help you know?" He soon walked away before Optimus looked downwards. He soon heard someone coming through the door before seeing Alexa who just came in and looked horrified at what just happened. She soon asked with her voice trembling "What happened here?" Optimus tried to get the words out of his throat but could feel them getting stuck. Alexa looked at him with her young, child-like eyes hoping for a answer as Optimus replied "A lot has happened Alexa." Alexa nodded before asking "Do you need some space?" Optimus really needed a moment but he could see Alexa desperately wanting to help him.
Optimus looked conflicted as he had turned away Bumblebee, he should probably apologise to him later. He shook his head before saying "No you can sit down next to me..." Alexa sat down as she patiently waited for a response from Optimus. "Alexa. A whole bombing event has happened and some of our friends had died in battle. I know this is tough to hear but I hope you understand me right now." Alexa noticed the softness in his optics that she had never seen before. Alexa put her hand on his shoulder as a way to say 'I understand your loss right' now as they stared up at the windows where sunset came.
The sunset was beautiful in Alexa's eyes, it had this tangerine colour in it and the soft yellow that surrounded it. The clouds which were an inky colour was shone by the sun as there were was silence surrounding the both of them. They could see these leaves swaying in the wind as it was quiet between the both of them while the noises continued in the background. She looked at him as Optimus felt better. He thanked her as much as he could as he soon got up before saying "I have to apologise to Bumblebee. I imagine he is pretty upset right now." Alexa stepped back a bit before saying "You do you." With her tone rather mellow and pleasant in a way Optimus couldn't tell. Alexa looked away a little too long before trying to get her focus together as she saw him leave.
Optimus soon arrived to where Bumblebee was. He saw that Bumblebee was talking to someone before Bumblebee turned around and looked in surprise before saying "Huh, I thought you needed some time for yourself?" As Optimus soon intertwined his fingers and hunched his shoulders a bit "Well, It was was pretty rude to send you away." Bumblebee shook his head at that before saying "You needed some space, that's all." Optimus was surprised at him not being upset as Bumblebee soon changed the topic and said "Can I go with Sideswipe outside?" Optimus intertwined grew tighter, contemplating for a moment as he nodded afterwards "You can go." Bumblebee looked in joy before leaving the area. Optimus sighed feeling at fault for not telling Bumblebee what was going on.
