Zera began to knock on the entrance door of the Ark as the detective waited patiently for answer as it took a few minutes until someone opened up the door, which was Sandstorm who looked better from what he just experienced from Firestorm. "Oh hey, we didn't expect visitors, what's your name?" Zera looked at him before she said calmly "Call me, Zera, detective who works for the RPA (Residual police agency). You lot must be the Autobots, correct?" She asked as Sandstorm nodded. She got out her notebook by saying "Well I need to question your leader and a few of you. So I need to come in." Sandstorm nodded and opened the door as she looked inside rather sternly.
She watched as she began walking through the area as people were looking at her curiously. Sandstorm led her to Optimus' office as she began to knock on the door. There she saw Optimus coming out with a soft gaze on his face "Greetings, I was not expecting you. May I ask what you came for?" Zera told him as he nodded. He let her inside as she got her own pen out "Well then, what do you want to ask?" Zera began her questioning as she opened her notebook and clicked the pen with her first question being "Right, do you recall how many Cybertronians went into the forest for the last few weeks or so?" Optimus tried to recall how many had gone inside of the central forest. He guessed it to be 23-37, the closest he could remember was 28. "28 went into the forest from what I got." She considered thoughtfully. That was way more than the last three months, the average she calculated was 14.
"28. We got the approximate number for how many came in. Okay next question, how many died in the forest this month?" She wrote it down as Optimus gently held the plush duck next to himself "6, I counted from the information put on the computers." He glanced with apprehension on his face as she wrote the number down. She looked adjusting her glasses as she continued to analyse her notes "Did you pinpoint the locations?" Optimus looked towards the door "Chormedome, has most of the data and graph charts there. I think you can talk to him later on. He is not a easy one to talk to but you can convince him." Zera noticed how dreadful Optimus looked and asked "You need some coffee? I know today that I have to rush slightly but I also need some coffee to get along with my day."
"Ah thanks a lot Zera, I think I would get some gold-glazed tea for myself." He said as her eyes opened up a little more as she had forgotten that Cybertronians can't drink Coffee, their bodies were different to humans compared to the near extraordinary intelligence that was similar to human-kind. "Right. After the next two questions, we will get something since these two questions are very important." She turned her page over and began her query "So, did you see any murders apart from the forest and have you had any guesses on who could it be?" For the first question he shook his head and the second one he thought over "Well we had a few suspects, one of them was Firestorm, another was Mixmaster but we couldn't really get any clear leads on the investigation and it's been mostly abstract since there there missing events and occurrences that didn't match up with the main events.
She looked as she told him as they stopped their questioning for now. "Well then, let's get something, shall we?" Optimus nodded and got up from their seats as Optimus closed the door behind them both as they walked through the rather bustling corridor. Zera followed behind him as they arrived at the main room as they began to grab cooled down drinks from the bar and paid for them. They went back to the room as Zera began drinking a cold latte with flavour while Optimus began to heat up the tea with a special stick. Once it was warm, he began drinking it slowly. He put it down after a while "So how many more is there?"
"I'll say three to four more. Just to check certain evidence and make sure everything is accurate from what I got. Then, I'll speak to the rest of your members." Optimus looked as era continued "Okay, so have you noticed particularly anyone missing lately, Autobot leader?" Optimus thought to himself before saying a nope. She asked a few more as she was done with him. They decided to chat a bit and drink some stuff as Zera soon got up as she left. There she went to the command room as she knocked on the door "Ah, come in!" She heard a rather cheery voice come from there as she went inside. Jazz turned around curiously "You must be Zera correct? I heard you from Sandstorm." She nodded. Jazz lent her a seat as she began asking questions towards him.
"I heard from Optimus that Chromedome has most of the data. Now not to have any doubts, is this true?" She asked as Jazz let out a 'mhm' before saying "Yeah, he is the main head for the cyber statistics department." Jazz said as Zera flipped back to her page with Chromedome's status in it. She soon also asked "Is there anyone else in that department?" Jazz remembered there was a few bots that were there "Apart from Chromedome, there was also Punch, Wheeljack (although Wheeljack works more with science department however.) , I don't remember the rest however." She looked in his optics for certainty before deciding to ask a different question "Today, there was been a incident of Ash dieback that had affected Ash trees nearby. At the same time a murder been recorded there last week. Do you know anything about the murder?" Jazz looked surprised to say the least "I only been hearing about this today, I didn't know there was a murder."
"Understandable enough. Okay I think I'm done with you since I don't have a lot of time. I'll ask more questions next week." She left the commanders room as Jazz was wondering what to say. Zera came out frustrated, the evidence was very abstract and she was trying to figure how to connect all of this mess together. First it was a simple murder and now Ash Dieback disease was involved? But she ultimately decided to go to Chormedome's room to draw down the graphs and maybe get some information from there. She began looking for him as she noticed a large orange bot nearby. She came to him as she asked "Are you Chromedome?"
Chromedome who looked a lot calmer now turned to look at Zera "Yes, I am." He looked mindful of Zera as he glanced at her "What is this you want to say?" He voiced as Zera soon stated her name and job to the bot. "Right you want the computers? This way then." He opened the room as Zera looked upwards, there was cybertronic computers on a rather large desk attached to each other. Some other computers were by the side, on separate desks, wires hangs limping from a sort of large TV on the front wall. It was a rather dark place, the only light coming from the computers and Chromedome's optics. A bunch of chairs, which had parts broken off were by the sides as Chromedome leaned down to the main computer which looked more advanced then the rest and was very large. He typed in a few commands as Zera turned on the nightlamp.
Zera began typing in a command about murders across the forest and immediately pulled up a visual graph which began showing 'murder spots' and where they were most common. She finished drawing it out and studied a few more other visual graphs and cases. After that, she was done. "Right, I think I am done here for today, I should have asked some more questions but my parking expired. I'll see you tomorrow." She soon left as Chromedome sighed in relief before muttering to himself "She sound like she's fun for the party." He grumbled as he went to his room. But he did secretly admit to himself that she was at least more bearable than most of the other bots.
