Alexa found herself in the cool night after the long fight with the unknown Cybertronian as she felt over her chest as she smeared her own blood over her shirt. She forcefully breathed out and looked towards her home which looked to be broken. She had unshed tears in her eyes as she felt extremely upset over what happened. A lot of her home got destroyed, she and her brother and friend got injured and she couldn't even imagine her mother's reaction. She had enough of bottling up her emotions in this war she had experienced as small drops of tears fell downwards. "Did this really have to happen?" She asked with a small tremble in her voice, she saw two vehicles coming her way. "Incoming!" Immediately Sideswipe and Smokescreen transformed as they saw the mess caused across the street.
"What did- Alexa?" Sideswipe turned to look at Alexa who had hot tears streaming down her face, her sobs were silent to the point people can't really hear her as she looked upwards with a distraught look on her face. She looked as her eyes were unfocused, her bags red as she struggled to voice out any sobs. "... I don't know what just happened." Was the only thing she could reply with as she had her hands wiping her own face. Sideswipe saw holes around the walls, her roof being destroyed and inside through the holes of her roof, he could see two people lying downwards, looking to be very injured in the process.
"Oh this looks like a mess, a very huge one." Smokescreen looked towards the damaged door as Sideswipe brought the upset girl over to himself as he looked down at her. He wasn't too good with emotional comfort but his vain attitude gave away to a more nervous and troubled exterior. He gave a rub on her arm as Alexa struggled to put her distressed emotions in words and gave out a slightly rough noise. Smokescreen grabbed Kirin and Harold gently as he soon went over to Alexa "Are these two people you know of?" Alexa nodded as she could feel the silence being the loudest thing in the night sky. Alexa couldn't even hear her tears falling down onto the floor.
"Right let's bring you back to base, we will figure out what to do with both of your close ones." Sideswipe transformed as Alexa went inside of Sideswipe's car mode. Smokescreen transformed as both of the injured humans went inside of his car mode as both began driving off into the distance. Alexa looked sombrely as Sideswipe struggled to light up the mood this time while Smokescreen was talking with a specific Autobot about what they should do next after the destruction caused by the silhouette of the Cybertronian. Sideswipe saw how upset she was over her close ones. And immediately he felt something for a human that he never thought to feel. Understanding. It was a strange feeling, understanding someone of a different species but he knew how much she needed this to happen.
They soon arrived at their base as Alexa got out of Sides' car. Sideswipe got out before noticing a certain Autobot coming out. That was Sunstreaker and he had a slight look of disgust when he saw the human "Why did you bring her here?" Sideswipe was trying his hardest to not yell at him. "Sunny, we are not doing this again because of your close minded feelings. She doesn't need your comments right now." Sideswipe said to his brother as Sunstreaker replied back at him "What with you becoming so soft?" Sideswipe was pissed off at that remark "It's called 'having some sympathy'. And you don't understand because you push yourself away from everyone!" The argument became heated as Sideswipe soon said finally "Not only do you hate humans, you aren't there for me!" Sunstreaker snapped as he was about to push Sideswipe down on the floor.
Smokescreen grabbed him "You two. I think we got to stop this." They both stopped arguing but there felt to be pressure and intensity between the two brothers as they simply looked away from each other. Smokescreen soon took Alexa inside as both of the brothers followed behind him. He put Kirin and Harold on the medbay as Red Alert began to work on both of them "So how long does it takes to heal at least both of them?" Red Alert only replied worriedly to Sunstreaker with nervousness in his voice "Well, the boy over there had damaged a major part and our technology is more suited for Cybertronians. So what I can say, it's going to take a while."
"No surprise, we been lacking on those medical supplies for a while now. But I think we got the crates coming in today." There they heard someone say "We got some packages!" Red Alert looked reassured as he said "Thank primus, I've been worried that there wasn't enough. I'll go grab them." Red Alert left in a complete hurry as Alexa looked less teary now and a little calmer as she wiped her face. "I have to get going now, a interview is waiting for me." Smokescreen nodded as Sunstreaker left to do his own thing as well, leaving Sideswipe with Alexa. Sideswipe really did not want to babysit her but he decided to. Alexa turned as she noticed his rather exhausted look. his body was hunched down, his hand were tense and his head looked to be lowered down slightly.
"Hey, where did Red Alert go?" Alexa's voice came through as she cut strained air "He went to go grab the crates from the dock area." Sideswipe said as Alexa wondered if she should talk to him but decided not to. She looked as she feel sick. "Can you give me a moment or so." He looked at her with confusion as she soon left to go to the stalls. He waited for her to come back as he saw Red Alert carrying two crate. He put them there as he wiped his hands together. "There we go, it took a while to get those here." Red Alert noticed that Alexa was gone and asked "Where's her?" Sideswipe could only reply with "She went to the stalls."
Red Alert began to remove the lids of the crates, one containing surgeon tools and the other containing general medical devices such as cainsters, medical box, a jar of Trilan, a small firmly closed plastic bag of glowing light green energon. He took out everything as he said "Okay, I think that's everything I ordered." Red Alert began to order his shelves before noticing Alexa coming inside, she had two pieces of tissues in her hand and there was saliva slightly drooling out of her mouth as she wiped it and threw it in the bin. Immediately Red Alert had his panic sensors go off as he came in front of her. "Alexa? What happened there!?" Alexa only replied with "I purged my stomach."
Red Alert looked confused before Sideswipe soon said "It's a human phrase for nausea." Red Alert nodded finally understanding as he sat her up on the medical bed "I don't know how human nausea differs from Cybertronian nausea. But you seem to have the colour drained out of your own face. You want something?" Alexa nodded before asking "Can I have some water? I'm not too good with cars." Red Alert began to look around his bag for human-made supplies as he gave her a water bottle. She took a few gulps before putting to the side as she crossed her legs. She looked a little drained from what happened from her house as she looked over her friend and brother with a frown. She looked towards Red Alert before asking "So... Where am I supposed to sleep now?" Red Alert replied to her with "We will decide that soon."
