Hoist had noticed it became pitch-black as he tried to grab a torch from his pocket. He groaned seeing that he didn't have something to light himself up, he had forgotten to grab one of the torches from the storage area where they had a box full of them. He had no chose but to use his datapad which did not light up that much and the corridor seemed very foggy as it made it hard to shine the light through. Hoist turned around looking for his friends "Friends?" He turned around seeing that there was nobody around as the area seemed suddenly angled although it still seemed to be realistically flat. It made Hoist's head hurt and his vision spin as he couldn't find where he was, all he saw himself at was at a large hallway. He began to walk forward following the energy signal and hoping to find his way back to his friends as he followed the beeping on the green screen. He heard something like a door closing and immediately turned and began to run where the noise was. However what had him confused that there was no doors and just long beige walls that stretched on for kilometres ahead.
Hoist thought he just heard the noise and his mind was just playing tricks on him as his visor glinted from the light of his datapad. He was starting to get nervous now and his usual jovial attitude was gone as he grasped the sides of his datapad before hearing noises of something scattering around wildly as he quickly turned the light around as there was no sign of anything. Now, he was convinced something was actually there and was trying to trick him. "Something is there but I'm not exactly sure what it is." He soon moved holding his gun close to him. He heard banging against the wall and the light from his device started to shimmer and the green screen started to flash with the signal beeping loudly. Hoist could feel drops of plasma from his face falling to the floor as he etched closer with his hand outstretched in a shaky manner. The hunch of his shoulders seem to decrease as his footsteps felt heavier and he could feel his legs aching. He never felt this frightened before at least not in a area with constricted space. He could feel his spark trying to cool down frantically as he noticed what seemed to be noises of running starting up again.
The running stopped just a few meters before finally a light came through, making the foggy room light up making the pitch-black room light up with a black, red and orange hue brightening up the area. Hoist managed to notice a red screwdriver on the floor and picked it up. "Why is this here, in the vortex of all places?" He wondered before seeing something nearby or somebody. It looked to be a Cybertronain that had a yellow-orange colour scheme. The windows were a blue instead of transparent windows like in many Autobots and Decepticon and he was facing against the wall before turning around as their face looked at Hoist. It was Grapple but something seemed off about him. "Grapple?" Hoist said wondering what he was doing here as he walked to reach him. Soon Grapple spoke but no word came from his mouth. Afterwards, Hoist saw something behind Grapple. It was a long, thin grey thing behind him and when Hoist tried to warn him, it stabbed him and went upwards before pulled itself out hard as Hoist looked in shock from his friend getting stabbed. "Wait- Grapple!" He yelled out and tried to run forward.
Energon leaked out as there was circuits falling out along with thick slops of energon fall downwards and small gold metal bits rolled on the floor. Thick cables were cut with the small orange lines attached inside sparking. Grapple had fallen to his knees with a sliver liquid falling downwards from his fuel tank and as he leaned downwards, a clear hole was seen on his back, revealing a metallic spine that was broken but still deep-rooted in the skin of the Cybertronain. Soon noises which sounded like record scratching was heard as glitchy particles which matched Grapple's colour scheme were seen as more appeared and he dissolved revealing this wasn't his friend but a hologram. Still Hoist seemed haunted by the intimation that basically gored up. Hoist noticed a noise of metal moving which was high-pitched and immediately Hoist was sent back by something invisible, hitting his head against the wall as he looked seeing a sharp piece of glass that went through his hand. "I don't think I'm in a good condition right now." He stated and pulled out it, a thin oval wound in his hand revealing layers and layers of Cybertronain plasmia which were unclear layers of each plating.
He put his hand on the floor next to him as energon leaked out of his hand and fell on the floor, spilling unevenly. His vision adjusted as a shadow of what looks to be Optimus appeared for just a moment, the black silhouette with white optics was blurry and the movement of himself was shaky. He went down on his knee looking over Hoist as both of them gave each other optic contact for a moment as the shadowed Optimus reached out with his hand near him as Hoist remembered the worried look in his Leader's eyes. That was until he heard something or what looked to be hearing something. He blinked before looking at Hoist for a moment and dissolved afterwards, leaving Hoist to question about what just happened. Hoist sat up as he began to move again as the corridor was confusing him even more. Hell, even the light still appeared. Hoist put away his datapad and began to walk through the area curious on what he would find after his experiences with those that he encountered "Where did they go anyways? Now I got to go after them. That's not a big issue but after what I seen, it's not going to be good." He looked seeing that there seemed to be handprints on the stone wall, somehow appearing there. Hoist analysed them and the device sent a loud beep showing abnormal messages as coding quickly flew past. He held his head high and saw a doorway nearby although he can't remember it being there.
