Alexa seemed to hold her gun with alertness as she asked "Does anyone have a flashlight?" And each of them replied with no. "Great, I got no way to see through here." Optimus looked as he turned to them "Has anyone got the headlights feature?" Hoist replied with "Ratchet seems to be only one of the few who has it. Plus not many Autobots can light up the room with their headlights, limitations I reckon." Alexa soon asked "So Ratchet went that way correct?" As Bumblebee answered "Yes but how are we supposed to find him in this damn maze?" Alexa shrugged bewildered by everything that happened so far. Optimus soon noticed everything glitching out and his optics changed to a black colour before passing out on the floor as Hoist picked him up with some struggle as Alexa asked with worry in her own voice "What happened!?" Bumblebee saw looked seeing something white pouring out of his mask and it smelt sweet. "That's human sugar." As Hoist soon asked "What? How did that get into his systems of all places?" Alexa soon said "I remember when Optimus came back, he wanted to throw up, we didn't question it but now... That's worrying." Hoist held the large Autobot over his shoulder as Alexa questioned "Well what are we supposed to do now? We still have no idea where Ratchet is and we need to help Optimus."
"Helping Optimus is one thing but trying to find a Autobot in a dimensional space is another thing." Hoist mused over as Bumblebee turned to Alexa "You got your gun on you?" He asked as she nodded "Yeah, you need it for something?" Alexa asked as Bumblebee grabbed it "Human guns have silencers. Ours doesn't." He switched it on as he shot something through the doorway who let out a loud scream and ran off quickly, the scream sounded distorted and monstrous as the smell of blood could be felt. Alexa grabbed back her gun, looking it over before glancing at the doorway as she asked "You knew someone was there?" And Bumblebee nodded grabbing his own blaster "I didn't want to alert them and above all, they or whatever there is." Hoist soon heard someone running towards their way in a hurry and they saw a familiar scientist guy with only one bulb. Wheeljack. "What are you doing here?" Hoist looked in complete surprise. "That doesn't matter right now!" Wheeljack stated out of breath and continued with "Ratchet's dead!" And they looked at each other in complete shock. Wheeljack seemed the most upset out of this. "H-He's dead? Ratchet's dead." Alexa said in disbelief while Bumblebee could feel his fists clenching. Hoist seemed to look at them with shock on his face.
There was a long silence as Alexa didn't know whether to scream or cry, so she looked with no expression expect for her eyes that was constantly shifting. "Why... Why has this happened?" She said as Wheeljack replied with "No idea but he's in terrible condition." Bumblebee felt small like something crushed in him, now he wasn't sure what to do with his medical friend being completely gone. His spark felt dead as he started to realize, what would happen after well, their main medic was technically gone? That thought made some of them completely uneasy knowing the fact they could be the next to die. They looked at each other with realization that they needed to get moving forward. Hoist mentioned to Wheeljack "We also don't have good news, Optimus completely passed out. He is alive thankfully." As Wheeljack looked at him over "Can you wake him up at least?" As Hoist said "I am trying to but his systems have some sort of programming block." Alexa perked up by saying "I think we need to find Starscream." Bumblebee said "Yes, but now we are stuck without a Medic." There was this awkward realization between all of them as Alexa soon turned to the vent and had a small forced smile on her face "This way, a shortcut." As they followed after her and jumped downwards.
They landed into a pile of trash as Alexa got up first "Okay does anyone hear maniacal laughing?" And they all turned noticing that it sounds similar to Starscream's laughter actually but less loud and more forced, Alexa ran off as Bumblebee yelled after her "Wait where are you going!?" Before also following after her. Wheeljack stated to Hoist "Alexa... She gets too enthusiastic sometimes. I guess she is still a kid after all that she faced." Hoist soon said "She's one of my favourite patients so far, next to Cliffjumper." His jovial voice came through as Wheeljack looked at him "You want to visit my lab after we deal with this planet threat?" Hoist nodded chuckling as he followed after him. It wasn't much but at least they had a good laugh out of all that happened. Hoist could feel his arms cramping from holding Optimus as he paused sighing and declared "I don't think I can carry him for much longer." He dropped him down gently as he saw that his palms seem to have red spots from constant carrying of heavy objects. Wheeljack attempted to pick him up as he bent down and held Optimus on his back as both caught up to Alexa and Bee. All of them saw Starscream working on a large console device which had switches and buttons. He looked to be transferring information into a red USB before hearing someone say "Stop that you fool!" And he turned seeing all five well four allies if you exclude the unconscious Optimus.
"You lot are pathetic! Chasing around for something you don't know about!" Starscream pulled out the USB which stopped the process and changed his hand into a missile launcher which he pointed his null rays at them as well "When could he do that?" Hoist mumbled under his breath as Starscream pulled the lever in a complex pattern and immediately the area started to fall apart as Alexa was knocked out unconscious first when Bumblebee accidentally hit her and pushed away.
Alexa woke up finding herself floating as she opened her own eyes and soon found a rock that she went on as she looked upwards, she seemed to be in a large area with air but when she looked downwards, she was high up seeing that there was rain around her. There was a road that had cracks from it and from there was orange light coming from a hole near a crashed van. The grass was bloody, atmosphere a reddish colour and it was dark.
