Chapter 48 - CHAPTER 48 – THE ORIGINS OF SOURCE DEFYING BODY ARMOR AND THE SUPREMO BODY (1)

Solanky slowly opened the third vertical eye on Supremo's forehead and turned his gaze toward his Source-Defying Body seated before him.

Instantly, the body became completely transparent.

Every internal organ, every strand of spiritual energy, and every flow of Source Energy within its veins was laid bare before his eyes.

Solanky was astonished.

Even when using the Observation Eye Technique through his Source-Defying Body, he had never been able to perceive himself with such clarity.

After a moment, he closed the vertical eye and rose to his feet.

The instant Supremo stood up, everything within a radius of ten light-years came to a complete standstill.

Time stopped flowing.

Space became motionless.

Matter froze.

Even causality and the laws governing reality ceased their movement as though existence itself had been paused.

Solanky instinctively waved his hand.

The space before his palm instantly collapsed into absolute nothingness.

Not shattered.

Not destroyed.

It simply... ceased to exist.

A chill ran through him.

Only then did he truly understand why his future self had forbidden him from using Supremo before the coming war against the Devil Ancestor.

Taking a deep breath, he lowered his hand and walked toward his motionless Source-Defying Body.

This time, he activated the Observation Eye Technique using Supremo's eyes.

The world around him immediately changed.

His vision pierced through the river of time itself.

He found himself witnessing a distant scene from the past.

Eight powerful beings stood beneath a massive moon.

Each of them possessed an aura comparable to that of an Infinite Source God.

Their attention was focused upon an enormous diagram flawlessly carved across the moon's surface.

Solanky concentrated on the engraving.

The figure depicted a gigantic beast resembling a flightless dragon.

It possessed three horns and was covered from head to tail in pitch-black armored scales that radiated an indescribable majesty.

The moment Solanky looked upon the diagram, an overwhelming sense of familiarity surged through him.

It felt as though only Supremo was worthy of observing such an existence.

Around the moon, the eight Infinite Source Gods created miniature continents upon which they settled to study the mysterious creature's life structure.

Solanky could do nothing except silently observe the scene unfold like an ancient memory.

With eight Infinite Source Gods gathered in one place, no other being dared approach.

After an unknown period, one of them finally spoke.

"My friends..."

"Let us compare the results of our studies concerning this mysterious diagram."

The other seven nodded.

One after another, they shared their theories.

To their surprise, every one of them had focused on the creature's glossy black scales.

The first speaker smiled.

"My brothers."

"Why don't we each create a suit of armor inspired by these scales?"

"Afterward, we can combine our knowledge and forge the ultimate armor."

Everyone immediately agreed.

Each Infinite Source God began designing armor according to their own understanding.

Because every one of them viewed the scales from a different perspective, no two designs were alike.

Years turned into decades.

Decades became centuries.

Century after century, they forged countless suits of armor.

Each one possessed extraordinary abilities.

Yet despite their success, every masterpiece still fell far short of the natural perfection displayed by the scales carved into the moon.

Watching everything unfold, Solanky was deeply amazed.

The weakest armor among their creations was already comparable to a mid-tier Supreme Divine Secret Source Artifact.

Most belonged to the highest tier of Supreme Divine Secret Source Artifacts.

Every hundred years or so, one of them even succeeded in forging a Perfect-grade artifact.

It gradually became obvious why these eight Infinite Source Gods were regarded as the greatest craftsmen among beings of their level.

However...

After one hundred thousand years of relentless forging, they finally discovered the true problem.

The materials they possessed were simply too inferior.

No matter how skilled they were, none of their resources could reproduce even the most basic aura contained within the scales of the mysterious creature.

Eventually...

Discouragement set in.

They had abandoned their own Infinite Source Worlds solely to create an artifact equal to the diagram before them.

Now, after exhausting almost every rare material they possessed, they had nothing left to continue their research.

Just as they prepared to depart...

A ripple appeared within the empty void.

From absolute nothingness, a humanoid figure clad in golden armor slowly emerged.

The pressure radiating from him surpassed even the terrifying aura emanating from the engraved beast itself.

Without saying a word, the golden-armored figure casually tossed forward an enormous corpse.

It was the actual beast depicted upon the moon.

He then handed the eight Infinite Source Gods a mysterious manual along with a unique forging technique.

Using the corpse together with the knowledge contained within the manual, they would finally be capable of creating the perfect body they had sought for so long.

The eight Infinite Source Gods immediately bowed in gratitude.

"Thank you, Senior."

The golden-armored figure remained silent.

Instead...

He slowly turned his head.

His gaze pierced through countless ages.

Straight toward Solanky.

He smiled.

Then...

He vanished.

Supremo Solanky stood frozen in disbelief.

He could not determine the cultivation of that mysterious golden-armored being.

More importantly...

The figure had looked directly at him across the endless river of time.

As though he had always known Solanky was watching.

Suppressing the shock in his heart, Solanky shifted his attention toward the colossal corpse left behind.

Even after death, its pressure alone revealed the truth.

The creature had existed beyond the unknown, boundless realms outside every Infinite Source World.

Its physical body and spiritual body had reached an inconceivable level.

Yet despite possessing such terrifying strength...

The golden-armored figure had slain it while leaving its corpse almost perfectly intact.

Countless questions flooded Solanky's mind.

Who was that golden-armored figure?

Where did he come from?

Were there others like him?

How had he killed such an unimaginable existence without damaging its body?

Unable to find any answers, Solanky forced himself to focus once more on the eight Infinite Source Gods.

The gigantic corpse stretched across millions of light-years.

The eight craftsmen enlarged their bodies to their maximum sizes.

Each of them now towered several billion light-years into the void.

The sight did not surprise Solanky.

Even his Source-Defying Body, while only at the Perfect Source God Realm, could reach six billion light-years in its true form.

The eight Infinite Source Gods opened the manual they had received.

Together, they began chanting in a strange language.

It was unlike anything Solanky had ever encountered.

He could not even identify it as belonging to any known civilization.

The moment the chant ended, several different flames burst forth from the manual and surged toward the corpse.

Four distinct flames immediately caught Solanky's attention.

The first was a blue ice flame.

Everything it touched became frozen, including space and time themselves.

The second was a crimson-red flame.

It burned away karma and causality, severing every connection attached to its target.

The third was a golden-yellow flame.

Its purpose was purification.

Everything it enveloped was cleansed completely, leaving only the purest essence suitable for forging.

The fourth flame was pitch black.

Unlike the others, it embodied pure destruction.

Wherever it passed, everything melted into nothingness.

Even abstract concepts failed to resist its power.

Among the four flames, it possessed the greatest destructive force.

The forging process continued uninterrupted.

One million years passed.

Eventually, every glossy black scale was burned away, leaving behind only the skeleton.

Another million years later...

Even the bones had been reduced to ash.

Only then did the true forging begin.

As Solanky carefully watched, the eight Infinite Source Gods tossed the mysterious manual directly into the glowing ashes.

The manual dissolved completely, merging with the refined remains.

Moments later...

Two metallic silver plates slowly emerged from within the ashes.

The instant Solanky saw them, his eyes widened.

He recognized them immediately.

They were the very same two liquid silver plates that had once transformed into the silver gloves he had obtained inside the treasury of the God Realm.
