"Good thing you know me." Darian spoke with an expressionless face, "We're all pretty busy people. Do you want me to do it, or are you gonna kill yourselves?"
The five Spiritual Guardians were pale. There wasn't a single person who came to this place who didn't know Darian. Their superiors had already warned them that they should flee the moment they saw Darian, because they stood no chance whatsoever.
"Don't play dumb. The number of people you killed unjustly is hard to even calculate. Why are you so reluctant now that it's your turn?" Darian asked with disdain.
Darian saw their dense karma as clearly as daylight. It was ironic. Even though they had massacred countless people, it was always someone else's life. Watching others suffer, they delighted in the despair of others. But when death came for them, their reaction was always the same: panic, terror, and reluctance.
