He leaned back against the seat cushion, adjusting his glasses. "But I like it. I want to see you dressed in that style—especially now, with our little one." She parted her lips to retort, but her words faltered when he added smoothly yet honestly, "That bump… I can't even imagine how beautiful it looks in that style."
Selina's cheeks tinged with warmth, surprised at how sweet Zane could be, admiring her while carrying their child. A rare warmth settled in her chest.
The attendant blushed on Selina's behalf, mouthing "aww" as she glanced at Zane after noticing Selina's barely visible baby bump.
But Selina pretended she didn't hear or see that reaction.
