Volume 1 Chapter 248: Hourly Room
"Mom! Just for these two days—you have to come pick her up!"
"Don't you know my situation?! If I'm around her— I'll corrupt her!"
"Please, I'm begging you~"
After lunch, Ning Chu hid in the small park near the school building. She paced back and forth on the pebble path, desperately pleading with her mother.
"Mom~ just this once, please~ It's only half a day's trip if you drive over!"
"If you don't come, I'll just have one of my classmates drive her home!"
She kept begging, feeling utterly overwhelmed.
If it were just about taking care of the kitten girl, she could have steeled herself and done her best. But now, she was constantly on the verge of losing control, and it would likely happen right in front of Black Bean.
Her shame was about to overflow!
Her gaze drifted to the kitten girl running around in the nearby garden. Ning Chu pressed her lips together and took a deep breath: "Mom! Is it settled then?"
"Well…"
Her mother sounded hesitant on the other end, which only made her more anxious.
"Mom~"
"You'll have to act cute a little more," her mom teased, clearly amused. "You've barely ever acted sweet to me since you were little~"

Ning Chu's cheeks flushed pink as she realized her earlier conversation with her mother had sounded like a coquettish girl trying to charm her way.
She took a moment to compose herself, trying to figure out how to "act cute" well enough to please her mother.
She'd never even thought about this kind of thing before! No girl had ever acted cute toward her either—it was a tough ask.
"M-Mom…" Ning Chu stammered awkwardly, "I-I just… really, really…"
Her mother laughed. "Alright, alright—I'll make time in the next couple of days, rent a car, and come pick her up, okay?"
"Mm-mm! You're the best, Mom!"
Finally breathing a sigh of relief, Ning Chu hung up the phone—only to look up and see that Black Bean had wandered over without her noticing.
The little cat girl was staring at her with wide, pitiful eyes, looking for all the world like an abandoned kitten.
A wave of guilt instantly washed over Ning Chu.
She crouched down and rubbed Black Bean's head, gently comforting her. "It's okay, you're just going to stay at big sister's house for a bit. There's meat at every meal over there, and sometimes even fish and shrimp~"
At the mention of food, Black Bean's eyes lit up. "Okay!"
"..."
Ning Chu rolled her eyes.
And I was feeling guilty, for what?
The original plan to care for Black Bean for a month had been cut down to just two days—but even so, she still wasn't entirely at ease.
After experiencing the physical 'benefits' of her succubus transformation, her resistance to heat had plummeted. She'd nearly lost control in class earlier and almost had Wen Yang help her take care of her needs right then and there.
Ning Chu held Black Bean's hand as they wandered aimlessly through the small park, Wen Yang walking quietly at her side, enjoying the peaceful afternoon vibe.
But Ning Chu kept sneaking glances at Wen Yang.
If she couldn't even endure one punishment without crumbling, what would happen next time? She wasn't sure she could stop herself from doing something really stupid.
And two days… wasn't enough to guarantee Wen Yang wouldn't mess up the plot again by rejecting some girl.
She had to come up with a plan…
After a moment of hesitation, she turned to Wen Yang and asked, "Um… can you watch Black Bean for a bit? I want to go to the girls' dorm and talk to Xinya."
Both Yan Xinya and Lily knew her situation well, and the dorms were a safe place.
Wen Yang glanced down at her flushed face and said calmly, "Why don't we just get an hourly hotel room?"
"..."
Having her thoughts seen through so easily only made Ning Chu feel even more embarrassed. She lowered her head, mumbling, "But then there'll be no one to watch Black Bean…"
Black Bean looked up at the two of them, then glanced left and right.
She tugged at Ning Chu's sleeve and murmured, "Mom, I want to go back to sleep…"
"Huh? Weren't you sleeping in class the whole time?"
"There were too many people. I couldn't sleep properly."
Ning Chu looked down at Black Bean.
The cat girl seemed to have social anxiety.
During class, she would often wake up periodically, and now outside, she kept looking around nervously, her hand clutching Ning Chu's sleeve as if afraid of being abandoned.
Seeing that Black Bean really wasn't suited for the outside environment, Ning Chu felt a headache coming on. She nodded reluctantly. "Alright, I'll take you back then."
"When you get home, go straight to bed and don't tear the place apart. If you need anything, use the computer to call me. I showed you how to do that on the weekend."
"Okay!"
They only had two hours for lunch break, and the round trip on the bus took an hour.
Ning Chu turned to Wen Yang. "Are you going home too? Or do you want to go to the library?"
"Either is fine."
She nodded thoughtfully.
Wen Yang's earlier suggestion seemed to have merit after all.
Half an hour later, the trio returned to their rented apartment.
Throughout the journey, Ning Chu played the role of a worried mother, constantly fussing over Black Bean as if afraid the cat might cause trouble at home.
"I left water on the table, and the dried meat snacks are under the coffee table. Help yourself if you're hungry."
"I set up a game on the computer for you. If you get bored, just click here—"
She locked the windows, fearing the cat might jump out and wander off. After making sure everything was in order, she saw Black Bean had already climbed onto the bed and settled down to sleep. Only then did she let out a sigh of relief.
Who knows how much of this actually sinks in...
At least she was obedient, unlike rebellious teenagers who grow impatient after a few extra words.
Ning Chu covered Black Bean with a blanket, then walked toward the door. "Wen Yang, let's go."
Wen Yang had just sat down on the sofa, his bottom still warming the cushions. He looked up in confusion. "Huh? We're leaving already? There's nearly an hour before class."
"Let's go!" Ning Chu repeated firmly. Still bewildered, Wen Yang followed her out of the rental apartment.
After locking the door, she grabbed Wen Yang's arm and hurried downstairs.
"Where are we going?" Wen Yang stumbled after her, unsure why she was in such a hurry.
"We'll take a taxi to class later." As he tried to follow, Ning Chu suddenly stopped. He looked up at the sign above the door.
Hotel...
Now he understood.
This was the first time he'd seen Ning Chu take the initiative!
The little succubus' face burned crimson as she rushed to the front desk. She hesitated for a moment before speaking to the young woman behind it. "I'd like to rent an hourly room..."
Having finally escaped Black Bean, Ning Chu needed to address the problem immediately!
Though she felt embarrassed now, if her next punishment made her lose composure during class, it would be far worse than mere embarrassment!
She swiped the room keycard to open the hotel door, but her steps faltered as she entered.
Her face flushed crimson with shame as she turned to look at Wen Yang, who had casually closed the door behind him.
Wen Yang remained unfazed by her pleading gaze, stretching lazily instead. "Why the sudden need for an hourly room? Wouldn't resting at home be just as good?"
This jerk was doing it on purpose!
Ning Chu lowered her head, her ears burning bright red.
"Um..."
Though tempted to kick Wen Yang out and handle things herself, she knew solo efforts couldn't compare to his assistance.
I'm a succubus, damn it!
Unable to voice her shame, she stepped forward instead. Standing on tiptoe, she wrapped her arms around Wen Yang's neck and pressed her soft lips against his in a bold move.
Wen Yang desire ignited instantly.
