Aang narrowed his eyes as he saw the devastation Toji and Wormy was causing, turning back when he heard a sharp whistle.
"Look alive, twinkle toes! Toji can handle himself!" Toph grunted as she punched the air, creating a deep crevice that soon shot out blunt spikes.
Despite the fact that their point was dull, the force behind the attack was still enough to dent the armour that the firebenders at the place was wearing and Aang took a deep breath as he nodded.
Stopping the twirling of his staff, Appa attacked with a swipe of his tail, unleashing a strong gale that pushed the flames away right as Aang thrust his own staff forward.
A cone of wind picked up the injured firebenders and threw them to the sides, Toph throwing out her metal marbles before catching them midair.
Moulding them into one, she spread her arms out and a shield formed in front of them, big enough to cover all three of them while pointed at the front to deflect the flames to the side.
Stomping on the ground in unison, the two noticed the army of firebenders advancing before Aang stomped again, creating a hole with sand below them that half of them fell into.
Toph continued with a punch to the ground, making the sand explode upwards and bouncing the firebenders into and through the ceiling of the palace.
"Toph! Gently!"
"Tell that shit to them!" she shouted as she delivered a flurry of punches to the shield, sending chunks of it flying forward as metal balls that ricocheted off the firebenders.
Appa roared as he leapt over the shield with a spin, slamming his tail into the ground. A miniature hurricane of strong currents snuffed out all fire created by the benders.
That was when Toph opened the shield, allowing hurricane Aang to charge through with a heavy stomp that sent out a shockwave strong enough to push everyone through a wall.
"And you said I should do it gently," Toph spoke with a scoff as she pulled her metal orbs back, levitating the sheet of metal beside her as Aang rolled his eyes.
"I didn't throw tons of stones and metal at them," he retorted and she rolled her eyes, but she narrowed hers when Aang held up a hand to stop her.
"Stay here with Appa."
"You think you can handle them all?" she asked as she heard the second wave of enemies approaching.
Aang didn't say anything as he turned to look at her, Toph staying silent as she felt the calm heartbeat before giving a shrug.
"Sure thing, but if anything happens, Katara's going to kill you."
"I know," he replied with a smile as he advanced forward, Toph taking a step back as Aang pulled his hands in and closed the door behind him.
Turning back around, she sensed the few dozen firebenders that didn't want to fight Toji running back to the castle and turned to Appa.
"Want to help fuck shit up?" she asked, grinning as the bison let out a bellow and stomped his feet. "My thoughts exactly, best buddy! Let's blow some shit up!"

Aang was silent as the doors closed behind him, taking a deep breath before lunging forward with the exhale.
Firebending platoons turned the corner just as he burst through with a spin, unleashing strong winds that pushed them all back. The few that avoided it lunged towards him, but Aang spun his staff around his body and swung upwards.
Flames erupted from the staff and deflected the flames that tried to hit them, his spiral movements bringing in more currents that pushed and smacked them all against the walls.
He moved swiftly, taking out everyone in his path until he found himself in front of tall pair of double doors, taking a deep breath and pushing them open.
However, he raised an eyebrow as he was met with nothing but a near-empty room, its sole occupant seated atop a throne while staring at him with a cold stare.
Aang didn't say anything as he walked into the throne room, closing the doors behind him while his gaze never left Ozai's.
"I thought you would hide."
"What would it matter? Even when I do kill you, Toji Fushiguro would ensure that I'd be Fire Lord of nothing but rubble," Ozai replied, to which Aang hummed as he stopped a few paces away from the throne.
"That's true. Toji is quite the ruthless guy," Aang replied and Ozai rose from his throne, shrugging off the cloak around his shoulders to reveal his upper body bare of clothes.
"So, I don't suppose I could ask you to surrender here?"
"And rot away for the rest of my life in a prison cell? The sweet release of death would be merciful."
"I was hoping you wouldn't say that," Aang murmured, making Ozai frown as the teen tossed his staff to the side.
Before he could begin to question what he did, Aang's tattoos lit up with an ethereal blue hue and Ozai's eyes widened as Aang opened his eyes.
It felt like the stare of a thousand powerful benders staring him down, every breath more difficult than the last as Aang raised his hands out to the side.
A pillar of bright reddish-orange flames erupted from his body, rising high and sending large debris in the form of the palace's rooftops flying outwards in every direction.
Next, a tornado formed, snuffing out the flames and compressing them into a ring around Aang's body as he rose with the winds.
Ozai punched forward and unleashed a burst of fire hot enough to melt the metal framing in the castle, but the tornado pushed them away.
Aang himself did not care for the heat as he took a step midair and lowered his arms before raising them back up, this time bringing a large gathering of water that converged around his form.
Cracking his knuckles, Aang clenched his hands into fists and pulled them to his side, cracking the walls of the palace before he lowered his fists with some strain.
The ground trembled as it opened beneath the walls, slowly forcing them into the ground and leaving Ozai bare to the sunlight.
'One more minute,' Aang thought as he looked to the sun, which was nearly covered by the moon as he turned back to where Ozai was busy doing wide circular motions.
Taking a deep breath, the water around him condensed in front of him before being unleashed in the form of a tidal wave, the Avatar kicking off to the side as Ozai thrust his right index and middle fingers up at him.
An arc of pure electricity raced through the air, slithering like a serpent and impacting the tidal wave with a deafening boom. Yet, Ozai was surprised when the ground under his feet opened up, making him sink up to his knees as the water condensed around his head.
Breathing out a stream of flames that evaporated the water around his head, his eyes snapped up to Aang to see the Avatar dropping with his fists pulled back.
With a roar, Aang punched forward and the entire palace ground caved in, disturbing Ozai's footing just enough for Aang to sink him further up to his waist.
Ozai gritted his teeth as he went to kick out flames, but his eyes widened as he looked up and saw the last bit of the sun fade away.
The moment it did, a sensation of weakness overtook his body, his hands sinking into the dirt as well while Aang landed in front of him.
Raising his fists up, Ozai was lifted from the ground, boulders wrapped around his hands and feet as he floated in the air. The first blow impacted Ozai's chest, drawing the wind from his lungs.
Blow after blow rippled against his chest before Aang ended with a swift knuckle strike to the centre of his forehead, taking a deep breath and a step back.
A chilling cold spread to Ozai's body as the earth around his hands fell to the ground, leaving him free to attack. Yet, he couldn't move a muscle, looking up to see Aang's pleased face.
"What...what did you do?"
"At first, I was told that killing you was the only thing I could do, which I didn't want to do. After all, that would be a betrayal to my people's beliefs," Aang murmured with a shake of his head. "Therefore, I went on a journey to find a way to beat you without killing you and that's when I found one out. Taking your bending away."
Ozai's eyes widened slightly at that before he snarled, struggling to get up to his feet only for Aang to open the ground and let him sink back into it up to his neck.
"I would not do this, but I want to make sure you don't run away," Aang replied as he lifted the ground, carrying Ozai with him as he began making his way back to the battlefield.
After all, he had a war to win and a girlfriend to get back to.

Toji grinned as he sat at the top of the stairs to the palace, Wormy lying beside him on one side while Iron slept on the other side. Right beside Iron was Nyla and June, who sat beside Suki and Sokka.
"I still want the price for them," Toji spoke up and Suki nodded, caressing the twin Kyoshi fans in her lap.
"Seriously? You're not going to just give them to her?"
"I stole them fair and square. She has to pay for them or I'm stealing them back."
"He has a point there," June spoke in agreement, drawing a snort from Sokka before they turned as foosteps approached.
"Hey, Toph," Toji greeted with a smirk, to which Toph just gave a thumbs-up as she sat down in his lap and rested against his chest. "How's everything going?"
"Ozai is in a metal prison, the army has surrendered, and Aang and Katara are busy making sure that none of them revolt, though I don't think they would on the threat that Aang takes their bending away."
"Right, forgot about that. When exactly did he figure that out?" Sokka asked and Toph shrugged as Toji leaned back on his hands.
"While we were busy training in the temple. Aang went off on his own all the time to try and figure out a way without killing Ozai, which is when he read the old manuscripts left by the airbenders that wished to end fights without losing their beliefs in the process."
"I see and that's actually pretty good for the Avatar to have since he's the only multi-bender in the world," Toji murmured with a shrug, which made everyone nod as they stared at the army slowly being led to their cells.
"So, what now?" June asked, making everyone turn to her. "The Fire Lord's gone, the Fire Nation's army is defeated and peace is restored. What's left for us?"
"Simple. You guys restore everything and I go live my best life with the richest I've made," Toji replied with a shrug, making everyone roll their eyes as Toph giggled.
"I agree, though since we are filthy rich, I'll make sure that you'll at least get enough money to restore the cities and the structures," she replied and Sokka gave a thankful nod as she stood up. "Come on, Toji. Let's go and tell my parents that we didn't die."
"Nope, that's you. I'm gonna go and drink myself into a stupor," Toji replied with a scoff, making Toph smirk.
"Sure thing. Anyway, June, you should probably come with so we can make you into a noble already."
"I'm all for that. See you when you visit us, pookie," June spoke with a teasing smile as her fingers traced Sokka's jawline, making him blink as Nyla and Iron stood up before Toji let Wormy crawl up his arm.
"Toji?"
"What?" Toji asked, turning to Suki as she gave a soft smile.
"Despite how much of a dickhead you are, thank you for returning the fans."
"...Sure," Toji responded with a shrug and Suki surprised everyone as she let out a giggle.
"I'll take that as a 'You're welcome'," she said and he gave a thumbs-up, descending down the stairs with the others.
"That's nice of you to not say anything bad," Toph whispered as she interlocked their fingers, to which Toji stared at her before giving a shrug.
"Like you said, I'm a changed man."
"If that's true, give me half of your earnings as charity."
"What about my foot up your ass?" Toji retorted with a frown, making June cackle as Toph snickered while rubbing his arm.
"Don't worry, June. If you work for me, you'll be a rich woman in no time."
"Ah, a woman who knows how to speak my language."

Ten Years Later:
"Concentrate! Keep your breathing steady!" A deep voice barked out, a bearded man with black hair pacing in the sand.
In front of him stood three young children and one would not be able to tell their ages at first glance as they looked nearly identical with their short black hair and green eyes.
"Why can't Mom teach us this, Dad?"
"You sure you want your mom to teach you?" the youngest and shortest of the three asked, to which Toji just raised an eyebrow while looking to the side.
"You sure about that?"
"You want to be like your dad?! Then, I don't want to hear any excuses! Keep it moving!"
"R-Right!" The oldest of the four children grunted, the boy struggling to hold back the large komodo rhino pushing against his rock wall.
The three girls looked back at their father, who raised an eyebrow before they went back into their horse stances.
"And I heard that shit! Toji, switch!" Toph barked out, wearing a simple flowing white dress with green accents that hugged her six-month old pregnant belly.
"Will do, dear. I did warn you," Toji replied with a smirk as he ignored the pleading stares of his daughters, leaving and walking over to where his son was struggling to push his wall forward.
"Steady your footing, push down and then forward," Toji advised and Megumi paused, doing as his father asked before his eyes widened slightly as he managed to push Iron a step back.
"Wait, wha-?" His excitement weakened his core for a moment and that was all Iron needed, pushing forward and bringing Megumi back to the starting position he was in. "Crap!"
"Hey, a win is a win," Toji replied as he thumped the top of the wall, sending it back into the ground with sheer force while catching Iron's charge with one hand.
"You say that, but if Mom heard that, I'd be doing push-ups until my arms were jelly."
"That's just your mom. Besides, be glad you're not Lin, Suyin or Chun right now," Toji spoke and Megumi looked over at where his mom was trying to force large rocks down onto his younger sisters' head.
He remembered that exercise vividly since it was the one he has been doing since he could bend, but as he saw the rock drawing closer, he knew that the girls were not going to win today.
After all, despite the fact that his mom were six months pregnant, the woman was also the strongest Earthbender in the world.
"Anyway, how's Wormy doing?" Toji asked and Megumi opened his shirt, revealing the worm wrapped around his chest and letting out soft snores now and again.
"As lazy as always."
"Of course," he murmured, turning and wincing as a rock smacked against Lin's forehead. Still, they showed that they inherited his durability as Lin just let out a grumble before continuing their training.
Deciding to just let them hold the rock over their head instead, Toph turned and waddled over to Megumi and Toji, the former immediately rushing over to do the same exercise beside his sisters.
"Huh, never thought the day would come when I didn't have to tell him to train."
"Well, that was also because you've been traumatizing him since he was barely three years old."
"You want to go join them?"
"You got a mountain to help me train?" Toji asked in return, chuckling as his wife rolled her eyes.
"Are we still going to that thing later today?"
"If we don't, June's going to drag us there, especially since I'm her ride."
"Urgh, I don't feel like walking," Toph grumbled and Toji smiled, rubbing the small of her back as she leaned against him. "You know, I can't believe it's been ten years since everything ended."
"Ten years since everything ended and then seven years since Zuko finally decided to stop running from the title of 'Fire Lord'," Toji muttered, making Toph giggle as she remembered how Toji had chased down Zuko, Azula and Ty Lee around the world.
When he finally caught them, all three were scared shitless of him until Aang and Iroh came and explain everything, which was when he finally came back to become Fire Lord.
That was also when they started the Reformation Program, which was just Toph and Toji funding programs that would rebuild villages and towns around the world.
She did it to help increase the prestige of her family, but Toji was forced to do it lest he be hunted down by the force of the entire world.
To be honest, she still think that if she and Aang weren't the ones to ask him, he would have actually tried to fight against the world to see how many hundreds of thousands he could kill with himself.
'Yeah, it's good I asked him,' she thought, feeling her husband's soft humming before they looked forward at where the four siblings sat down with exhausted groans.
"...Should we tell them about the party?"
"Nah, let's have them train more," Toji whispered back and Toph giggled, clearing her throat as her husband began marching forward.
Watching as he picked up each one before he began to pace in front of them, she couldn't help rubbing her pregnant belly with a soft smile as Toji turned and gave a wink.
This was the life she chose and she wouldn't change it for the world.
Now, if only she could get Suki and June to have a kid with Sokka, then everything would be perfect.
A/N:...And that's it. I might do an Omake/ OVA that shows off the party, but for all intents and purposes, we are finally done.
Almost a year's worth of chapters, a lot of delays and some overthinking on my end, but we finally made it.
It was a rough yet fun journey, an end to a series that some enjoy, some dislike and some waited eagerly for.
However, as they say, all things come to an end and it is time for this one to end.
What happens next, I have no clue, but let's find that out next week.
As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next story...
This has been If The Price Is Right and Ba-Bye~!
