There were several points of significance within the borders of Emadlageni. An ironic fact is that although the people of Emadlageni are a fighting people, their points of significance had nothing to do with either military or war. All with the exception of one, the Immortal Scar of the Heavens.
Though not a scar of a military battle but a conflict between two feuding wizards of the highest grand master level. The combination of spells, causing an explosion of such magnitude the landmark was formed.
Others said it was just one powerful spell, no one knew as both wizards disappeared and were never seen of again.
The Scar was in the shape of a green cross, from the sky the cross was the only piece of greenery in a five-kilometre radius, the cross itself was four by two kilometres.
At the heart of the cross was a deep crater.
At the heart of the crater was a bubbling pool with a fountain. The water there reacted separately to any in the Thorne.
Though the water bubbled hot, ice kept growing at the edges only to melt and break away before creeping back moments later at the heart of the pool. At the base of the fountain ice formed a spiral breaking at the top, before becoming white hot. The heat so intense it caused an explosion of steam crackling endlessly. Surrounding it were billions of green clovers.
Stunning and serene, if only it wasn't for the petrified forest.
There were fourteen of the type.
Entire woods came to a sudden end turning to stone. Only in this forest there were leaves and acorns, ants and small animals frozen in stone. The entire forest was a sobering experience, taking a great deal away from the cross but not enough to keep poets, artists and first timers away.
There were over a thousand people there, all of some race admiring the timeless flow of water and the light.
Though the clovers were green, every one of them bled the purest of white light when stopped on.
Sixteen individuals were preoccupied.
From opposite ends Heather and Fury nodded to each other.
They headed down the furthest line until few people could be seen by the sharpest Black Air Raider eyes.
Heather broke from the group, Fury too.
Beams of light burst from their every step until they met in the middle.
"Is that the sky demon I see before me?" Fury roared.
"Only a tree monkey could be silly enough to believe in demons!"
They embraced, Heather eventually patting Fury's head when the crush was too much.
"I see you made it well, all seven, as you said there would be." Fury said.
Heather shrugged, "We were lucky, luckier than you. You're only nine, one of your big ones are missing"
"They're men. I know if it were up to you there'd be no different sexes."
"You'd be surprised," Heather said with a chuckle, eye contact became just a little harder to hold in that moment. "anyway, carrying on."
"Ferry, my best male decided that being under me wasn't for him."
"Too bad, think I remember him, it's a shame." Heather said with a nonchalant shrug. Fury shrugged back.
"I'll miss him. Used to be the only insightful smart one in the group but things have changed."
Heather brightened there, she slapped her shoulders and laughed. "I knew it, I could see it all over you. You almost seem taller by comparison."
"You look different yourself. It's incredible how much happier you look."
"Thank you, it's a very, very long story."
"Trust me" Fury said with a smile, "My story will be twice as long."
