[Gotham at night.]

The moon and stars of Gotham City at night were lost in the gloom of thick clouds, plunging the city into darkness. But the warm light of silent windows pierced the impenetrable gloom and silently accompanied the lingering traveler.

The darker the night, the more lanterns and lamps lit in the alleys and houses. An infinity of lights transformed the city streets, filling the heartbreaking darkness with a dim light.

Then the city at night became a dreamland, at once enchanting and ominous, where danger lurked. But the only bright light piercing the darkness of Gotham City's night sky, and the projection of a bat upon it, drowned out the alarm and informed the city's residents that the Dark Knight was on guard and ready to protect them.

The Bat-Signal gave hope to some, while taking it from others. After all, this sign in the sky served as a reminder to criminals that Batman was nearby and coming for them... I had just finished some business at the company and was thinking of dropping in to visit the Gotham City Guardian, when a signal light lit up in the sky for the masked hero.

Apparently, Batman was busy today, which meant training was canceled... Oh well, I'll work out with Bordeaux on the roof of the building. We'll practice, and maybe even have a romantic evening for two. While I stood there, pondering this, looking at the Bat-Signal projection, my eagle eye caught the silhouette of a boy in a black cloak on the roof of a five-story building opposite my group.

He looked no more than thirteen years old. He stood on the very edge, his strange glasses perched on his forehead, his gaze directed towards the Bat-Signal. The situation didn't seem very favorable, so I immediately rushed to save the boy.

Running across the road, I quickly reached the right building and began to persuade the young man to step away from the edge.

"Hey, boy! That's dangerous..." Sounds are surprisingly louder at night, so from the height of a five-story building I should have been clearly audible. The teenager immediately looked down and asked with genuine bewilderment in his voice: "What exactly?"

"Standing on the edge of the roof!"

"Why?" he asked the stupid question again. Is this kid really not right in the head?

"Guess in three tries! Hint: you'll break your neck!"

"Ha-ha-ha! You really think so? And I just wanted to jump."

"Don't even think about it! You're still so young, all your problems are still ahead of you!" But the unknown boy didn't heed my words and, without a trace of fear on his face, fell down. I gathered all the strength in my legs and concentrated, trying to catch the young madman in time.

Just as I was about to act, to my great surprise, lights lit up behind the boy and pulled him upward. Looking more closely, I realized he was wearing a jetpack, allowing its owner to hover.

What was that? Are flying kids the norm these days? Oh yeah, I live in a comic book world, I always forget what a crazy universe this is. The boy circled around me a few times and finally deigned to set foot on Mother Earth.

"Hello!" the young man saluted, grinning from ear to ear. "As you might have noticed, I haven't turned into a pancake."

"I didn't think the weather forecast predicted boys falling from the sky today. Did the heavens really decide we're living too well and sent us more idiots? No, no, please take them back," I started waving my hand.

"Hey, what did you call me?! For your information, my IQ is 210! Who else can boast of that?"

"So, you say you're a smartass. Somehow I doubt it. Come on, a little test. Two plus two?"

"...Four," the young genius answered, not hiding his irritation.

"I believe you, but my hand is itching- no. Perhaps I should spank you instead of your parents, so that in the future you don't scare your elders like this anymore."

"Did you really think that I... ha-ha-ha, that's hilarious!"

I couldn't resist and flicked the obnoxious youth right on the forehead.

"Hey! This is outrageous!" the teenager shouted, rubbing the sore spot.

"What's your name?"

"Hiro Okomura."

"Hiro... Okomura? You're thirteen?"

"Yes sir. You're Alex Reath, right? I was looking for you," he pointed his finger at me. "Is the position at Nidavellir still open?"

Who would have thought that tonight, one of the smartest people on the planet would literally fall on my head! Hiro Okomura, also known as "The Toyman," is a boy genius from Japan. As I remember from the comics, he has one of the highest IQs in the world. He has extensive knowledge in physics, robotics, cybernetics, weapons technology, programming, and biochemistry. Hiro is an excellent designer and engineer, capable of repairing and creating anything from giant robots to nanospiders.

He started building robots when he was only seven. What's more, they were capable of fighting Metallo and Superman. He once helped Batman and Superman save the world from a giant meteorite made of radioactive kryptonite. And this young genius is asking me about a position?

"You want to work in Nidavellir?" I asked the little guest, surprised and at the same time happy.

"I have an idea. I won't lie, I like your mobile games. They're the most interesting of all! I've played them several times already! But as amazing as they are, my soul yearns for more. In particular, I'd like to play a computer game. And since your company is still slow in developing them, I've decided to take matters into my own hands. I won't brag, but I developed my first game when I was only eight. So you can count on me for that! The main thing is to give me an idea, and I'll bring it to life."Toyman said, passion flaring in his eyes.

"Wait, you were talking about Nidavellir."

"Well, yeah. I saw an ad online that you were looking for specialists and immediately sent my resume."

"....."
