'I gave you everything you asked for, I work this hard to give you whatever you asked of, but this.....'he said clenching his fist so hard'. He couldn't quite get why it had to be him.
A disheveled lady with brown hair and deep black pupils ran to him almost naked with a panicked expression, 'it isn't what you think Alec, this is just a misunderstanding', she said hurriedly. 'oh then would you tell me what the hell is happening here, he replied gnashing his teeth so hard.
Today was his birthday, he already had plans that he and his girlfriend Mia were going to go out to celebrate. He didn't know if she remembered, but it was also their first year anniversary, but what seemed to be the perfect day turned out to be his worst nightmare.
He did various miscellaneous job, and one of them was a delivery boy. 'Hey, who the hell is he, and why are you trying to explain what is going on here to him?, and you deliver what you are here to and scram', A man with deep blue eyes with handsome features said with evident displeasure on his face.
Alec felt his world fade for a moment, he was so heartbroken, the girl he had loved and been with all this time was nothing but a cheat? he couldn't quite wrap his head around that.
"Hey, did you not hear me, I said get out. Mia who is he? He asked with a threatening tone.
Mia, already flustered couldn't bring herself to answer that question "co...con...Conner, he...he is my uhm". She just couldn't bring her self to say the word.
"OH, you can't say the word uhn, fine I will tell you myself, "he answered pointing at Conner. "she is my girlfriend, at least she was "he said with a chuckle.
"Mia, where you two timing on me? Conner asked with a frown on his face. Mia already panicking ran to him and started explaining in between sobs "Conner, you know that I will never ever cheat on you, you are the one I love and I definitely won't leave you for anyone else". she looked so pitiful right now that if anyone were to see her, they were sure to give her a comforting hug.
Conner gaze visibly softened, "then who is he? Mia stared at Alec who already hung his head in dejection. "He is someone I helped before and he then took liking in me, he did not have anyone around him at that time and I comforted him, I guess he took my care for love Instead" .she said with puffy eyes.
She then turned to Alec, 'I am sorry if have been leading you on, that was a mistake on my part, Conner is my boyfriend, am sorry for not telling you earlier,' she said without any fluctuations in her tone.
Alec just started blankly at her, unable to believe what he was hearing, the girl he loved, that he had been toiling day and night for just denied him? This must be a joke, he mumbled
" Mia, I already warned you about being too kind, look he took it for granted "he said staring at Alec with apparent disgust. Get out now before I call my guards on you, and mark my words you wouldn't want that "he threatened.
" I will leave, I will leave now but believe me when I say this, I will get my revenge on both of you, mark my words". He said, his voice icy cold and turned around to leave.
"Wait a minute, Conner stoped him just before he could step out, Alec stopped but didn't turn back .
"What is it", he asked, his tone very calm in contrast to the storm raging inside him.
"Well don't think I will just leave you be after this, I will make sure to leave a bad review on your platform,consider your job gone", Conner said while smirking.
Alec turned back to him "do your worst", he said and went out.
